Why Brett Ran out of Fuel

. (Day in Rock) The following is taken from a statement issued by Brett Scallions about his decision to leave Fuel. "The decision I have come to at this point in my life is to retire from Fuel. This is not a decision I just came up with at the drop of a hat. I have been thinking about this since the end of the Something Like Human tour... I feel like I need to push myself more as a musician and a writer and this is the best thing for me right now. Carl is a great songwriter. I have great songs in me too.
