Lohan Injured
hecklerspray reports: Lindsay Lohan, star of that film about the funny car and constant inhabitant of every magazine ever, was taken to hospital over the weekend after buggering up her leg on a teacup.

The accident happened at the London home of Bryan Adams when Lindsay was trying to make breakfast, walk down some stairs, carry a teacup and be naked all at the same time. No wonder she hurt herself - having seen some Lindsay Lohan films, it's clear that she has trouble doing two things at once - like walking and talking - let alone four things.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Contact Music reports: Songwriter and R+B vocalist GENE McFADDEN died on Friday (27JAN06) after losing his battle with liver and lung cancer. He was 56.

Rap Almost Kills Sanctuary
BBC reports: UK music group Sanctuary has unveiled a £110m rescue deal after revealing a fivefold increase in annual losses. 

It blamed the loss on an "awful" year in which it was hit by record release delays and a string of profit warnings. Many of the losses stemmed from Urban Records, a firm it bought from singer Beyonce Knowles' father, it added.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Reuters reports: Four women rockers who took on the music of Led Zeppelin are driving club audiences to a frenzy and, offstage, whipping up speculation over their sexual tastes with the name of the band: Lez Zeppelin.

Gigwise reports: A host of Scottish indie stars are teaming together for a children's charity album. 

Franz Ferdinand, Belle and Sebastian, Snow Patrol and Primal Scream are contributing songs to the collection, with all proceeds going to local children's charities.

Blabbermouth reports: Veteran hard rockers RIOT have issued the following statement via their official web site:

"On Friday, January 27th, the day of RIOT's performance in Las Vegas, [bassist] Pete Perez fell down at Mark's [Reale, guitar] house in Long Island and suffered a major blow to his head, he was rushed to the hospital around 7:30 a.m. after not knowing where he was, what day it was or even who he was.
