Aiken's Mystery Man
DiR reports: It's been a few days without a Clay Aiken rumor. Ok, we're a bit bored with this one too but for those with an interest we'll run with it Here is a story courtesy of Faded Youth the much hated blog by Claybots: At the two public appearances [Clay Aiken] has made recently (Edmonton Oilers v Carolina Hurricanes: Game 5 and the recent Kelly Clarkson concert in Raleigh, NC) eagle eyed fans noticed a new mysterious guy accompanying the singer.

While staring at his KD Lang hairdo, Kelly Clarkson concert-goers particularly noted the apparent closeness between the two and the amount of whispering going on between them. Some fans believe that this guy is security for Clay, but other fans have noted this guy is nowhere near the physical presence of Aiken's traditional security guy, Jerome (who is a massively imposing black man). Ironically many have noted the strong physical resemblance to Aiken's alleged former tryst, John Paulus. Lastly, rumours abound that this guy has now moved into Aiken's Raleigh home. Thrash Hockey
PR reports: When the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes skated their way to this year's Stanley Cup victory they did it to the tune of Toronto's instrumental thrash band Mastery. The Hurricanes had been using choice cuts from Mastery's recently released "Lethal Legacy" album throughout the season and playoffs to get the players and fans pumped up.

Mastery's new album "Lethal Legacy" is in stores now on Spinerazor/Corporate Punishment Records. The album has been receiving major buzz within the metal community with praise from Brave Words and Metal Maniacs who said, "While Lethal Legacy' pays homage to the classic thrash of the late 80s/early 90s with nods to Testament, Forbidden, Vio-lence and Metallica, it doesn't sound as if the band are pining for the glory days." Decibel Magazine has also been singing the praises of Mastery brand of "instrumental", as they gave the band a whopping 9/10 and called them, "Mastery of Puppets". The band posted tracks from their recently debut album at the full story link- Click Here for the Full Story

Timberlake's Bomb Debut
TMZ reports: Justin Timberlake's feature film debut has sadly become his straight-to-video debut.

Despite co-starring with Oscar winners Kevin Spacey and Morgan Freeman, it looks like Justin's crime drama "Edison Force" isn't up to par. It's being released to video stores on Tuesday, July 18.

The movie, filmed in 2004, hit the film festival circuit last year, but early reviews were not kind. Variety said "The movie is a parade of cliches," and the Hollywood Reporter called it "a star-studded dud of a B-picture."- Click Here for the Full Story
