Ozzfest Rape
Blabbermouth reports: Dan P. Blake of the Chicago Tribune is reporting that Tinley Park police today are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in a field outside the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre during the Ozzfest music festival over the weekend.

A shirtless man, described as about 30, approached the 20-year-old victim as she was leaving the festival after 8 p.m. Sunday on the far west end of an unused parking lot at the outdoor venue at 191st and Ridgeland Avenue, said Tinley Park police Cmdr. Phil Valois.

"She had a chance encounter with the subject, they talked for awhile and at some point he grabbed her and assaulted her in a grassy area of the parking lot," Valois said.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

MTV reports: Sorry, ladies: It looks like Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst is off the market. In a post on Bizkit's MySpace page, Durst said that he'd met "a wonderful girl named Krista" while in Rhode Island, where he's shooting his directorial debut, "The Education of Charlie Banks." Nintendo Fusion Tour 06
PR reports: Music lovers and video game fans will converge in venues across the country this fall, as the fourth annual Nintendo Fusion Tour gets underway. The tour, headlined by emo-rock band Hawthorne Heights and produced by Live Nation, will visit some 40 cities nationwide between Sept. 27 and Nov. 11. In addition to live music, each venue will showcase the hot-selling Nintendo DSTM Lite and provide a sneak peek of Nintendo's upcoming console, WiiTM.

Hawthorne Heights will lead the bill, which also includes Relient K, Emery, Plain White T's and The Sleeping. Many of the band members grew up playing Nintendo games, and the Nintendo Fusion Tour brings their two passions together.- Click Here for the Full Story

Deep Purple To Still Rock Beirut
KNAC reports: Despite the fighting in Lebanon, English rock band Deep Purple says it plans to perform at the Baalbeck Music Festival outside of Beirut later this year.
