(addVice) Remember that picture that said, "Who the F**k is Mike Skinner"? Well here it is. On The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living, the Streets offer perhaps the most action-packed thirty-seven minutes in the history of pop, rap or rock and roll, hurtling the listener on a voyage to the heart of celebrity darkness. The album starts and ends with a drug and alcohol inspired panic attack.Mike Skinner, battle-hardened by the last two years of trial by tabloid, has decided that attack is the best form of defense. "Me writing the scandals on my own album has got to be better than someone else getting it wrong in the papers. If you just put all the worst things that happened out there, all they can do is repeat what you've said." The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living is the amazingly true story of a now very famous boy named Mike and the madness of celebrity's fast lane. Featuring star turns by violence, sex, alcohol, gambling, bad behavior, regret and way, way too much prang.

When the record is released on April 25, Mike will revel all. Get the first clue to the madness that is the world according to Skinner with the video to lead track "When You Wasn't Famous" up now at the Streets MySpace page and let the games begin.
