Axl Vs Slash
Gunsnroses.us reports: The following press release is the official response from W. Axl Rose in regards to the lawsuits filed by Saul "Slash" Hudson and Michael "Duff" McKagan: "W. Axl Rose, on Friday March 3, 2006 responded to one of Saul "Slash" Hudson's baseless lawsuits by filing a counterclaim asking the Federal Court to confirm his ownership of his own creative works. Slash and Michael "Duff" McKagan had previously filed cases both in Federal Court and in the Los Angeles Superior Court making numerous false allegations about Axl. Mr. Rose believes that once apprised of the true facts the Judge or Jury deciding these lawsuits will rule in Axl's favor on every issue before them.

More surprising to Axl are recent media reports that Slash (Saul Hudson) is claiming that he has always been supportive of Axl Rose and the new Guns N' Roses. Slash's actions in recent years have in fact been anything but supportive.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Jermaine Vs Jacko
hecklerspray reports: Michael Jackson has had a rough year - being accused of child molestation, being accused of animal cruelty, being accused of wanting to duet with Westlife, but he can always count on his family.

That's not strictly true, if recent reports are to be believed. Far from standing firmly behind Michael, older brother Jermaine has been trying to sell a book all about Michael Jackson. Specifically about how much Michael Jackson loves those kiddies.

Unholy Alliance Dates - Slayer Recording
antiMusic reports: The Ozzfest corporation will have some real metal competition this year from none other than the mighty Slayer who will headline the The Unholy Alliance Tour Preaching to the Perverted which will also feature an impressive array of metal from the likes of Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, Mastodon, and Thine Eyes Bleed! The evil mayhem will kick off the rather appropriate date of 6-6-06.

Wait, it does get better! Instead of shelling out a hundred bucks or more to sit through the latest crop of mallcore darlings (that bought their slot) waiting to get to the good stuff, the tickets for a full day of metal at the Unholy Alliance Tour will top out at $39.00.

The wait is almost over for a new Slayer album as well. According to their publicist the original line up of the band (Tom Araya/bass, vocals, Kerry King/guitars, Jeff Hanneman/guitars, and Dave Lombardo/drum) have entered a Los Angeles-area studio to record their next studio album with Josh Abraham (Korn, Velvet Revolver, Atreyu) producing and Rick Rubin executive producing the effort. The as yet untitled album will be released on Slayer's long-time label, Rubin's American Recordings/Warner Bros. Records, and is expected out this fall.[see full story for more including confirmed dates]- Click Here for the Full Story
