Speaking to the Fly Mason said of Hip Hop after a night spent watching MTV: "It hit me how nauseus and revolting this pop' form of hip hop is, and more importantly, how hip hop's forefathers are having their memories sullied by the mass market rubbish pedaled in the name of hip hop'."

"Artists such as 50 Cent, Ja Rule and P Diddy are taking the intent of hip hop and effectively wiping their arse with it."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Radiohead CD in 07?
antiMusic reports: Bad news for all creeps, Radiohead are not planning to release their new album anytime this year. This according to a press release from Capitol Records. However, we do have good news for those lucky enough to attend the North American shows we wrote about yesterday. Capitol Records says that "Set lists for the shows will draw heavily on the newer material the band has been working on over the past months."

If you missed yesterday's story, click that handy full story link and the upcoming dates will magically appear! (and to the moron that emailed us about yesterday's article, with the exception of you, we were not calling our readers "creeps.," It's our petname for Radioheads culled from the band's famous song "Creep". (Similar to our bastardization of the term sweathog to describe Kelly Osbourne's 3 fans) See you do learn something everyday. Please don't email mail to bitch us out unless you know what you are talking about. That way, at least one side of the exchange will be informed.)- Click Here for the Full Story

Palmer says ELP Reunion Unlikely, Asia Reunion Coming
Day in Rock reports: Morley lined up another music legend for his latest MorleyView. The one and only Carl Palmer of King Crimson, Asia and Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Morley and Carl discuss a variety of topics including some disappointing news for ELP fans but great news for Asia fans. Here are those excerpts.

antiMUSIC: Can you see any light at the end of tunnel in ELP taking another stab at it?

Carl Palmer: We have no arrangements; no plans to do that. We have another DVD which is coming out later on this year, which was recorded at the Isle of Wight. We've done new interviews for it. It's got high definition and the sounds real good. There are no plans to do any recording or anything like that or any touring. I guess if the right show came along, if it were charity, then yes we could look at starting to play together again. Apart from that I doubt that we would ever play again.

antiMUSIC: What can you tell us about the recent rumblings that Asia was going to rise again?

Carl Palmer: Ah, Asia will actually do something together again. We'll do something later on this year. End of Aug, September and we will come to Canada. Hopefully in America. It's the 21 Anniversary. It's just something we'd like to do. Who knows how long we'll do it for: 2,3,4,5 weeks. That's where we are. We have no plans to record. I wouldn't mind making a DVD. I think we'll play the whole of the first Asia album. [see the full story for the entire MorleyView]
