Momma Gwen
hecklerspray reports: At the moment, everyone is all like "Shiloh Nouvel Shiloh Nouvel Shiloh Nouvel," but, if they want to be fair, they should be complementing that with "Kingston James McGregor Rossdale Kingston James McGregor Rossdale Kingston James McGregor Rossdale."

Why? Why should we be trying to spit out that ridiculously long name? Because Gwen Stefani of No Doubt and Gwen Stefani fame has just had a baby too. And it's a boy, called - duh - Kingston James McGregor Rossdale, which is almost a normal name for a celebrity baby.[see full story for more.. Kill Em All
antiMusic reports: The Independent recently spoke with rock philosopher Ted Nugent about a variety of subjects. During the chat Ted offered up his solution to the age old problem of how to find peace, love and understanding. "Who doesn't know this? The Ku-Klux-Klan? The Black Panthers? Child rapists? How do you get peace, love and understanding? First of all you have to find all the bad people. Then you kill them." The interview ran a bit longer than Plato's republic but if you want to delve into the world as Ted sees it, click the full story link.- Click Here for the Full Story

Wylde Plans
antiMusic reports: We love Zakk Wylde. Not only does he have his patented guitar squeals but the man does think ahead. Here we are on the eve of June of 2006 and Zakk has already planned what he will be doing in Spring of 2007. Our European friends better start stocking up on beer because Black Label Society is invading next March in support of their forthcoming Roadrunner Records debut 'Shot To Hell'. You won't have to wait til 07 for the CD, that hits stores on September 25th. Those Down Under will be able to catch Zakk in September (you stock up on some beer too, good stuff not that Fosters crap). [see full story for dates]- Click Here for the Full Story

Korn Konfusion
antiMusic reports: Ok, Head(case) is out. That's for sure. Then last week it looked like his replacement Rob Patterson of Otep fame had fallen victim to the Korn reaper as well. Not that he is fully respected by John D and Co as they make him play off stage but fans do pay attention and last week while the band was bringing Europe the 2nd coming of Nu Metal, fans spotted Fear Factory's Christian Olde Wolbers playing the downtuned axe of discontent. So assuming something was up, word got out that ol' Rob was robbed of his backstage playing position but it turns out that Christian was just a temp. At least according to what the band's management told MTV -- "Korn played three shows with their longtime friend Christian to start the tour in Europe, but Patterson is now back at that position." So all is well in Korn land. At least as well as it can be. - Click Here for the Full Story

Andy Kim Ain't No Cartoon
conqueroo reports: Andy Kim has sold millions of records, but most people are under the impression he sold mere hundreds of thousands. The reason is simple. Although Kim had many hits under his own name ("How'd We Ever Get This Way," "Baby I Love You," "Rock Me Gently" and "So Good Together," to name a few), he co-wrote (with Jeff Barry) the Archies' mega-hit "Sugar Sugar," which sold 6 million 45 RPM units. Ron Dante provided the magic voice. Yet the fans never saw the scaffolding behind the scenes. The Archies, after all, consisted of Archie, Jughead, Reggie, Betty and Veronica, right?

Collectors' Choice Music on July 18 will re-release four Andy Kim LPs via two loaded CDs: How'd We Ever Get This Way mates with Rainbow Ride to document Kim's 1968-69 output, while Baby I Love You is conjoined with the eponymous Andy Kim. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
