(blabbermouth.net) SMASHING PUMPKINS frontman Billy Corgan played four new songs that could end up on the band's forthcoming reunion album during an intimate club show Tuesday (Nov. 7) in Los Angeles. Pete Townshend of legendary rock group THE WHO also was on the gig's bill, and reportedly spoke positively of Corgan's new tunes to an audience that included PUMPKINS drummer Jimmy Chamberlin.
