Britney Sex Tape Blackmail
hecklerspray.com reports: One day we fully expect that the rumoured Britney Spears sex tape will be talked about in the same sentence as Atlantis, the abominable snowman and King Arthur's knights - unless Kevin Federline flogs it on the internet, of course.

Nobody really knows if a Britney Spears sex tape even exists; a court case was meant to settle it once and for all, but it sort of backfired because the judge thought Britney Spears was a slapper, or something. But now reports are suggesting that Britney Spears' soon-to-be divorced husband Kevin Federline has a copy of a four-hour Britney Spears sex tape, and he's apparently going to sell it for millions of pounds unless Britney gives him custody of their kids. Although why anyone would want to watch Britney Spears have sex with Kevin Federline for four hours when they could watch her 2002 masterpiece Crossroads twice in a row is beyond us, right? Right? Anyone? Hello?[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

A Litigious Shade of Pale
Gigwise reports: Sixties rock act Procol Harum are set to go to court over a dispute about the song-writing on their biggest hit 'A Whiter Shade of Pale.' The group's ex-keyboard player Matthew Fisher is claiming that he wrote the seminal organ line and deserves a cut of the copyright.

The 1967 hit has been long attributed solely to lyricist Keith Reid and singer Gary Brooker. Fisher and Brooker will go head to head at the High Court in London over the case, with experts and witnesses due to give statements in court. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Idol Backlash
pr-inside reports: LEANNE RIMES has come to the defence of fellow country singer FAITH HILL, whose shocked reaction was caught on camera at the Country Music Awards last Monday (06NOV06) when CARRIE UNDERWOOD beat her. Hill appeared to be angry when she lost out on the Best Female Artist prize to the AMERICAN IDOL star and was seen mouthing a shocked "What?" before walking off.

Rimes writes on her official website, "Okay, I usually keep quiet on topics like this, but I feel I need to stand up for my friend, Faith. She was just being honest and emotional like every other person sitting at home with an opinion. These awards shows are so political and we all get fed up with them. We all work very hard and have for many years so to see someone come in and win Female Vocalist that has been here for a very short time, is a little disheartening. She probably felt, as I did, that Carrie has not paid her dues long enough to fully deserve that award."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
