2&2 4 Tues: Edgewater
antiMusic reports: This week for 2&2 we speak with Matt Moseman, frontman of Edgewater about their brand new CD 'We're Not Robots'.

2&2: You guys went from Wind-Up with their mixed priorities to Rock Ridge which seems to be a much more artist friendly label. Can you tell us a little bit about the transition and how it's going so far?

Matt: We love Rock Ridge and all the support we have gotten. We also appreciate everything that Wind-Up did for us. It wasn't a bad transition, just a little uncomfortable trying to find where we fit.

2&2: What is the significance of the title of your new album?

Matt: We just want to write and have fun being a band. Not some cookie cutter commercial. [see the full story for the entire interview]- Click Here for the Full Story

WM3 Misfit CD
blabbermouth.net reports: Greg Prato of Billboard.com reports that ex-MISFITS frontman Michale Graves is showing his support for The West Memphis 3 (the three young men who are believed by some to have been wrongfully convicted for murdering three young boys in 1993) by touring to support the WM3 and collaborating on a full album with one of the men, Damien Echols.

Inspired by a viewing of the "Paradise Lost" documentaries, Graves reached out to Echols' wife via email, who then put the two men in contact. "Damien and I started writing back and forth," Graves tells Billboard.com. "I challenged him to continue writing lyrics. I said, 'You can articulate what you're hearing and what kind of mood is happening, and I would put it to music.' And that's what he did. I would kind of meditate on it, pick up my guitar, and we wrote six songs together."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc
Special Ops reports: Rhino Entertainment will release Dwight Yoakam's reworked classic, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc.: Remastered and Expanded, on October 17th. Seemingly too traditional for Nashville's music establishment at the time, Dwight Yoakam moved to Los Angeles in 1977, whereby the early 80s his captivating performances at the Palomino Club, Club Lingerie, Hong Kong Cafe and other Hollywood venues earned him and his band-the Babylonian Cowboys-a loyal following among California's burgeoning cowpunk scene. Rhino celebrates the 20th anniversary of Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc., with a remastered version of his 1986 debut expanded with demos for the album recorded five years earlier. The double-disc set also features a live recording of Yoakam playing the Roxy shortly after the album's release and includes several unreleased live cuts. The deluxe edition of Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. will be available October 17 from regular retail outlets and at www.rhino.com.
