KNAC reports: Lead singer of Audioslave Chris Cornell and his wife Vicky are under threat from stalkers who are threatening the lives of their two young children.

According to pagesix.com, Cornell has just installed a high-tech security system in the mansion because of the threats. A friend says: "The threats� usually come by e-mail or by regular mail and are explicit, referring to killing the children and Vicky and exactly how they plan on killing them. Ramones The Movie
punkbands reports: A film of the career of The Ramones is set to be made. Producer Rory Rosegarten has snapped up the film rights to the forthcoming book 'I Slept With Joey Ramone'. The book is planned to be an authorised biography written by Joey Ramone's brother Mickey Leigh and legendary music journalist Legs McNeil.

Rosegarten has also negotiated a deal with Joey Ramone's mother Charlotte Lesher executor of his estate, which would allow him to use the group's music in the film, film industry newspaper Variety reports.[But will Drama get a decent part? see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Tupac Live DVD
Kayos reports: On October 31, Eagle Rock Entertainment, through its wholly-owned Eagle Vision subsidiary, will release The Complete Live Performances by the late hiphop icon Tupac Shakur, the best-selling rapper of all time. 

This two-disc set consists of his 1996 House Of Blues concert wherein he created musical and cultural shock waves in and around Los Angeles. Later that year, on the day he was released from prison, his Las Vegas concert at Club 662, proved to be his last hurrah, as he would be murdered in that town shortly thereafter. Lou Reed Musical
MTV reports: Lou Reed put out his third solo LP, Berlin, in 1973, but he has never performed it live. That will change in two months when the artist presents the dark song cycle in all its theatrical glory at St. Ann's Warehouse in Brooklyn, New York, on December 14-17. Original Berlin producer Bob Ezrin and longtime Reed collaborator Hal Willner will provide musical direction, while painter Julian Schnabel will direct and design, and Antony leads the Brooklyn Youth Chorus at the event.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Fender Discharged
AP reports: Freddy Fender has been discharged from a hospital and was resting at his South Texas home Thursday, but family and friends said the Grammy-winning musician remained gravely ill.

E! reports: After a week of increasingly implausible denials and "no comments" from Team Madonna, a Malawi high court judge has managed to do what the Material One would not: confirm that the singer and husband Guy Ritchie have adopted a one-year-old boy. 

The Ritchies were granted custody of David Banda Thursday, after filing adoption papers at a local courthouse. "Madonna and the husband"--nice--"filed their papers for an interim order this morning at Lilongwe High Court, and the judge gave the ruling at 2 p.m. this afternoon," deputy registrar Thomson Ligowe told Reuters. New Stooges
Gigwise reports: The original members of The Stooges have begun recording their first album in over 30 years. 

The Iggy Pop fronted seminal outfit have spent the last week at the Electric Audio Studio in Chicago laying down tracks with Jack White and Steve Albini. The line-up features Pop on vocals, Scott Asheton on drums, guitarist Ron Asheton and bassist Mike Watt who is recording the band's activities on his online blog. KISS in a Box
blabbermouth.net reports: Universal Music will be releasing the "Alive! 1975-2000" box set featuring KISS' first three "Alive" albums (as released on Universal labels, whereas the latest "Alive IV"/"Kiss Symphony" album came out via Sanctuary Records) in Europe on November 17. The set will appearently be a four-disc box set, with the fourth disc expected to be the never-released, original "Alive IV" album that was once advertised back in 2000 and recorded when the band was still with Universal Music. Burning Tree Reunion CD
blabbermouth.net reports: BURNING TREE played a reunion gig at King King in Hollywood on Monday, October 9. Guitarist Marc Ford, playing his first show since resigning from the BLACK CROWES last month, was joined by bassist Mark Dutton and drummer Doni Gray for two sets of classics from their 1990 self-titled album as well as some new original compositions and covers. According to Marc's MySpace page, they will do it again next Monday, October 16 at the same place. The show on Monday was recorded and filmed and there are plans in the works to release a live CD.- Click Here for the Full Story

TMZ reports: Hilary Duff claims in court documents that she fears for her life, alleging she and her boyfriend are being stalked by two men -- one a paparazzi and the other a homeless man. TMZ has obtained court documents, filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, in which Duff and Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden claim that a 19-year-old Russian emigre came to the United States "for the sole purpose of meeting and becoming romantically involved with Ms. Duff." The court documents state the man, whose first name is Max, "admitted to being 'obsessed' with her, has stated his intention of 'removing' his 'enemies' (i.e., those who prevent him from being with her), has stated his intention of purchasing a weapon, and has threatened to kill himself and to engage in dramatic actions to get her attention."

Incubus Lite
SMN reports: INCUBUS' return to active duty will include a return to theaters in early 2007. Guitarist Mike Einzinger tells Billboard.com that the California quintet -- whose sixth album, "Light Grenades," comes out Nov. 28 via Epic -- is excited about returning to smaller venues with a North American tour that will begin in January, most likely in Vancouver.

"We haven't played theaters in a very, very long time," Einzinger says, "and we just decided it was a really good time in our career to kind of just step back.
