2&2: New Found Glory
antiMusic reports: For this week's 2&2 4Tuesday we speak with New Found Glory frontman Jordan Pundik about the band's brand new album 'Coming Home'.

2&2: What's the significance of the title Coming Home?

Jordan: The record was written while we were on the road. We've been touring for 10 years straight and everything is always written on the road. For this album, when we went into pre-production we did it differently and took two months to structure every song and lyrics instead of just having the music and finishing it up in the studio. So, all these songs began to represent being home and longing for that loved one. "Coming Home" is a name of a song on the record too and Chad called one day and said, how about Coming Home for the name of the album? We think that it is an amazing song and the name represents the comment thread of this record so it stuck.

2&2: Did you take any different approach to the writing and recording this time?

Jordan: As I mentioned above, we did take a different approach. Every time we write we only have two weeks for pre-production and then we have to record. A lot of times we feel rushed and lyrics and songs aren't even always completed when we are starting the recording. This time we took two months to live with the demos and make them the best that we could. By the time we recorded them, we knew how every song would be laid outthe lyrics everything. The entire record was thought out before we even laid one track down in the studio. [read the full interview at the full story link]- Click Here for the Full Story

Kill That Bitch
hecklerspray reports: Now that Paul McCartney has been branded a violent, frothy-mouthed wife abuser two times over, he needs to ensure that everything that happens from now until the end of his divorce is whiter than white.

Of course, being the king of inoffensive, two-thumbs-up, mullet-shaking MOR pop, Paul McCartney won't have too much of a problem with this - he's already used the 'dignified silence' trick to full effect in the face of all the recent domestic violence allegations - but those around Paul McCartney are having a slightly harder time keeping their graceful smiles in check. Like Paul's daughter Stella McCartney for instance, who's apparently started screaming about how much she wants to kill Heather Mills in the manner that a Columbo suspect would ten seconds before they're arrested. [Stella] flew into a terrifying rage after hearing that Heather claimed Macca hit her mother Linda. Stella, 34, had to be restrained by the former Beatle as she screamed: "I'm going to kill that bitch! I can't believe what she's doing! I'm going to kill her!" "I told you she was a bitch," she screamed[more fun at the full story link] [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Dylan Musical Sucks
Gigwise reports: A Broadway musical featuring the songs of Bob Dylan has received a critical mauling Stateside. The show, 'The Times They Are A Changing', has been choreographed by Twyla Tharp and uses the rock legend's songs to tell the story of a young man's relationship at home and with a circus performer.

Critics in America have been quick to pan the musical with The Wall Street Journal lambasting "'The Times They Are A-Changin' is so bad that it makes you forget how good the songs are." Variety said that the show was 'plodding' and that is was 'chaotic and narratively incoherent.' [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Zombie's Halloween Plans
blabbermouth.net reports: If all goes according to plan, Rob Zombie's remake of the classic horror film "Halloween" will hit theatres a year from now, just in time for the holiday that shares its name. Zombie said that he was initially reluctant to remake the 1978 original, one of his five favorite horror movies, until he came up with a new way to approach the material. Zombie told Launch that one thing we'll see more of is the background of "Halloween"'s masked serial killer, Michael Myers. "What I want to do is spend more time with him as a kid," he said. "I was never really satisfied with, like, 'Oh, he's a really perfect, normal little boy and then he killed one day.'I wanna really get into, like, what would it take to make this little kid become this person for real. And then what happened when he was locked away all those years, 'cause we hear bits and pieces about it in the first film, but you never see or they really never go into detail."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Who Vs Michael Moore
pr-inside reports: PETE TOWNSHEND refused to let documentary maker MICHAEL MOORE use THE WHO's WON'T GET FOOLED AGAIN in his FAHRENHEIT 9/11 film because he didn't want the anthem to become an anti-PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH song.

The rocker claims the tune has been misinterpreted many times and he didn't want to add to the confusion by letting Moore use the song against Bush. He tells Rolling Stone magazine, "When ROGER (DALTREY) sang it, suddenly it became almost an anthem of the counterculturalists. "You say to somebody, 'I'm not doing it,' and they hear you say, 'I'm doing it.' Like, 'I'm not going to tell you President Bush is a bad man.' And people go, 'Oh, OK, so President Bush is a bad man.' Let me tell you again, 'He f**king is not a f**king bad man, you f**king idiot!' "The debates I had back and forward through HARVEY WEINSTEIN (producer) with MICHAEL MOORE were beyond belief. He wanted to use my song Won't Get Fooled Again. "I said to Harvey, 'The guy wants to misuse the misuse of the song.' It's not political or partisan or parochial." The rock anthem is now the theme to TV hit CSI: MIAMI. - Click Here for the Full Story
