(Gigwise) Scissor Sisters singer Jake Shears has branded David Gilmour a 'bastard' for pulling out of a duet between the pair. The Pink Floyd legend was supposed to perform the classic 'Comfortably Numb' with Shears in New York - a song which Scissor Sisters covered in 2004 - but apparently cancelled it at the last minute.

He tells Uncut Magazine: "Earlier this year, David Gilmour told my manager that he wanted me to sing 'Comfortably Numb' with him at Radio City Music Hall for two shows.

"�So I was practising it and doing my vocal exercises to it, but the day before the gig they decided not to have any guests. They canned me. Bastards! It was one of the worst things you can do to anybody. I kind of hate him for it.[see full story for more] - Click here for the Full Story
