U2 Spidey Musical
Contact Music reports: U2 frontman Bono and guitarist the Edge have reportedly signed up to write music for the forthcoming Spiderman musical.

KornKnot: Korn Recruit Slipknot Drummer
Contact Music reports: SLIPKNOT drummer JOEY JORDISON is set to join KORN for the summer (07) after announcing he'll replace Terry Bozzio for the group's upcoming tour. Former Frank Zappa drummer Bozzio quit the group last month (Mar07), leaving Korn a man down as they planned their Family Values tour in North America and a series of festival shows in Europe. But frontman Jonathan Davis couldn't be happier with his new bandmate: "Joey is the s**t! We can't wait to rock onstage with him this summer." Family Values Dates
PR reports: The much anticipated return of THE FAMILY VALUES TOUR, co-headlined by KORN and EVANESCENCE, will commence on July 20th in St. Louis and close out the summer on September 2nd in sunny California. With a line-up including Atreyu, Flyleaf, Hellyeah, and Trivium, the tour is poised to be the biggest and best Family Values Tour in history and the best-priced lawn tickets at $9.99, tickets goes on sale beginning April 28 and can be purchased at www.livenation.com. 

On April 19 a star-studded "Halloween in Spring Costume Ball" at the infamous Hollywood Forever Cemetery will celebrate the announcement of the tour. In 2006, the second annual kick-off event drew rockers and Hollywood stars alike as Axl Rose, Avenged Sevenfold, Jessica Alba, and others attended.

Fuel Find Their Voice
Extra reports: The hard rock band Fuel breaks big news on "Extra." The platinum rock band has named a new lead singer. 

After lead singer Brett Scallions quit last year, band mates Carl Bell and Jeff Abercrombie were left without a front man. They went on a worldwide search, auditioning thousands of singers and today are pleased to announce first on "Extra" that Toryn Green has officially been tapped the new lead singer of the hit band.

Green says, "You come from playing literally on sidewalks, small stages and all of a sudden it's like� would you like to play in front of a few thousand people! I think I can do that!" 

Fuel is fired up about their new front man, a tour starting in May and their fourth album, which will feature wild rocker Tommy Lee on one of the tracks. Dimebag Rock Walk Induction
KNAC reports: Dimebag Darrell Abbott, will be posthumously inducted into Hollywood's Rockwalk, the only sidewalk gallery dedicated to honoring those artists who have made a significant impact and lasting contribution to the growth and evolution of Rock �n' Roll. A bronze bust of Abbott will be unveiled during the ceremony and later installed along the RockWalk posthumous inductee wall, which also includes Robert Johnson, Elvis Presley and Bill Graham among others.

E! reports: It's official: Brandy has been eliminated from America's Got Talent. 

NBC [Normally Broadcasting Crap]announced Thursday that Sharon Osbourne will join David Hasselhoff and British TV personality Piers Morgan on the judging panel for the next season of the Simon Cowell-produced competition series.

AP reports: U.S. album sales are down 17 percent so far this year, a downward spiral caused in part by a surge in online music purchases and fewer big-name albums being released in the first quarter.
