antiMusic reports: Atreyu's new CD 'Lead Sails And A Paper Anchor' hits stores next Tuesday and to celebrate we asked Brandon to pick his top five favorite tracks from the CD and tell us a little about each one. Today he tells us about "Lead Sails Paper Anchor". Here's Brandon:

"This song was the curve ball. I wanted to write a country song and it came out to be more than I ever expected. The pedal steel and the way the vocals came out really made me excited."

Beyonce Nude Mishap
antiMusic reports: The good news for Beyonce Knowles is that sex sells. The bad news is that her breasts are now available for viewing on the internet. Beyonce was simply trying to promote her new clothing line but she inadvertently gave the audience an eye full. This according to a Contact Music report.

It's being billed as an accident, (or is it a wardrobe malfunction?) but it could also be called an ironic way to promote a clothing line by accidentally removing said clothing. It all happened last week when Beyonce took to the stage at a launch party for her clothing line at the Dereon in Toronto, Canada, according to Contact Music.

Hundreds of fans were on hand to witness Beyonce perform and during an a dance routine her blouse reportedly lifted up and exposed her bare breasts to the audience. Video of the mishaps is now making the rounds on the web. We won't link you directly to a site showing it but if you are industrious you can find- one

Michael Anthony Responds To Van Halen Reunion, Defends Wolfgang
antiMusic reports: Michael Anthony has addressed his absence from the Van Halen reunion tour, saying simply that he wasn't invited to take part and he also encourages fans not to judge his replacement too harshly as he is sure that Wolfgang will do just fine.

While Dave, Alex, Eddie and Wolfgang hit the road this fall, Anthony will be joining former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar for a tour with their band aptly titled "The Other Half". But with news of the reunion and what some see as snubs of the former Van Halen bassist, Anthony felt it was time to speak out publicly about the reunion tour. Here is what he had to say on his blog: "First of all, I hope all of you are having a great Summer!! I want to thank everyone for all the support you're shown me during the past months. It's all been pretty crazy, and I just wanted to bring you all up to speed. A lot of you have been asking about the upcoming Van Halen tour and my response to it. It's not that I'm not touring with Van Halen because I'm going out with Sammy (Hagar). I'm going out with Sammy because I was not invited to do the VH tour. - more of his message

an reports: Amy Winehouse has pulled the plug on her upcoming North American tour due to the "rigors" of the road (for those that haven't been following recent Winehouse news this excuse is for you). She is eyeing a makeup tour sometime next year. Euro fans keep your fingers crossed as the Oct / Nov tour over there is still on. At least for now.

Boston Tribute Late Singer
antiMusic reports: Members of Boston paid tribute to their late singer Brad Delp on Sunday night. Members of the band performed one of their signature songs at a tribute concert that also featured Extreme frontman and guitarist Gary Cherone and Nuno Bettencourt.

The five-hour event took place Sunday night at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston and was dubbed "Come Together: A Tribute to Brad Delp". Delp took his own life in March after reportedly suffering from depression.

Some of the highlights of the evening came when Cherone and Bettencourt performed a song they had co-written with Delp. The Boston Globe reports that "Delp's post-Boston outfit with Goudreau, RTZ, gave a heartfelt performance that included a new number written after his passing called 'Set the Songbird Free.'" Then Tom Scholz, Barry Goudreau and Fran Sheehan took to the stage to cap off the event to perform their hit "Don't Look Back" in honor of Delp. - Read the Globe's full recap of the show

Music To Hurt People By
antiMusic reports: We all have them, songs that are the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard, that when heard make us what to reach out and touch someone in an unfriendly way. Taking any song currently on TRL out of the obvious consideration it turns out that James Blunt produced the song that is most likely to inspire violence.

When asked which songs make you want to commit violent acts by Rolling Stone the majority of people named Blunt's "You're Beautiful". An understandable choice. The Black Eyed Peas "My Humps" were just behind Blunt at no 2 with Smash Mouth's "All Star" being the third most likely song to make you want to break your foot off in someone's ass.

For the 4th and 5th place winners we have to journey back in time a little further. Coming in at a solid (and ironic) No. 4 is Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry Be Happy" with the unforgettable Village People classic "YMCA" rounding out the Top 5. - more on this story

Another James Brown Child Discovered
antiMusic reports: He was called the "Godfather of Soul" and "The Hardest Working Man in Show Biz" but it looks like he was also rather busy offstage and the father of quite a few souls. That's right, another James Brown offspring has been discovered through the wonders of modern science.

Another child of Brown has been discovered using DNA testing. The woman that tested positive this time is the third person proven to be the child of Brown through DNA testing since his death, his longtime adviser Buddy Dallas told The Augusta Chronicle.

There may be more Brown children out there.- more on this story

"We will be heading home today and not hitting the last week or so of dates. Due to a mix up of booking and such (too much to explain), Nodes of Ranvier decided to head home last week and prepare for a Sept. tour they have coming up which started a chain reaction of other bands heading home.- more on this story

Switchfoot Bail on Sony
antiMusic reports: Surf inspired Christian rockers Switchfoot have bailed on their deal with Columbia Records and plan to move ahead independent of the major label machinery. The band made the announcement earlier this month on the Myspace page.

They won't let a little thing like leaving Sony behind stop them as they have extensive tour plans (including heading over to rock the troops) as well as some solo projects in the works and a new studio album for next year. Here is their announcement: I've got some exciting news: after several years of trying to make things work over at Columbia we have officially severed our ties with sony to pursue making music independently. We are thankful for the incredible success that our partnership has produced over the years, yet within this ever changing business there can arise differences in vision and goals. These differences have now come to a point where we feel like parting ways would be best for us, and best for sony.- more on this story
