13 Bucketheads
Blabbermouth reports: Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Buckethead will release a set of albums, entitled "In Search Of The", on February 21. While not much is known about this collection, it has been confirmed that there are a total of thirteen albums that have each been personally numbered and monogrammed by Buckethead himself.

According to musician/producer and frequent Buckethead collaborator Travis Dickerson, "This is not a regular CD. It's hand-made, hand-burned. The cover is whatever is deemed to be written on it. This is not a manufactured deal; each one is different and will be numbered and monogramed. No two of these will be the same. I have never heard of an artist doing something like this. This is as direct from the artist to the fan as I have ever heard of.

Helion Lose Singer
BW&BK reports: Finnish melodic metallers HELION have issued the following update: "We are sorry to announce the following: A little while ago, Jukka (Salo - vocals) told us that he no longer has neither the time nor the required interest to stick with Helion. These are what we call personal reasons, which we understand. Naturally, we're disappointed in his decision, but considering the situation by large, it's best for both parties that we move on.

Jukka may post a brief statement on his behalf, in a while at least. Until that, we close this chapter of the Helion saga. We remain friends, this has nothing to do with chemistry. [see full story for more including info on what to do if you want the job]- Click Here for the Full Story

Amy Lee Defends Britney
Rockdirt reports: Evanescence singer Amy Lee surprisingly came to the defense of Britney Spears after a fan named 'Strat' posted a YouTube video making fun of the troubled pop star using one of Evanescence's songs. "OK, hold on a second. I have to post that I in NO WAY am going to endorse any kind of Britney bashing after everything she's been through," Lee wrote at the EvClub forums. "I can't control what people put on YouTube or anywhere else on the internet, but I would NEVER want my picture or our music connected to something that's based on getting enjoyment out of someone's pain. I know what it's like to feel manipulated, used and helpless - so do most of you, that's why you're here - and by now I know what it's like to feel like your entire life is open to the world for judgement. I don't read tabloids and I don't care about celebrity, but it is impossible to escape the whole world just loving to watch her suffer. Remember that this is a human being we're talking about - and who wants to be like those horrible people that have hurt you to feel better about themselves? 'Everybody's Fool' is about the fact that the whole celebrity thing is fake and empty. I think Britney Spears is more aware of that now than anyone.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
