Britney Cokehead?
pr-inside reports: [today's obligatory BS report] BRITNEY SPEARS' first husband has fuelled reports of the pop superstar's history of drug use - by confessing the pair once stayed awake for 72 hours, high on ecstasy and cocaine.

Alexander - whose January 2004 marriage to the 25-year-old was annulled 55 hours after they tied the knot in a Las Vegas, Nevada wedding chapel - revealed he saw the full extent of Spears' recreational drug use when they celebrated the New Year in 2004.

He says, "We used ecstasy at night to party and cocaine during the day to stay awake. Then we would take downers like Valium to come down and rest. Britney stayed up three days straight over New Year. [K Fed is starting to make sense now... see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Drug Bust Kills View Tour
Gigwise reports: [the press release posted on the 14th stated " Due to unforeseen visa and immigration issues" now here is a follow up to that from Gigwise] It's been revealed The View were forced to cancel their upcoming US because singer Kyle Falconer faces drugs charges.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the Scottish rockers were supposed to kick off a nine-date American jaunt next Saturday, but were forced to pull the dates.
What wasn't known was that the cancellation was caused because Falconer's visa application was turned down after he was forced to declare an arrest last August for cocaine possession. Revived Beatles Track?
Earvolution reports: Paul McCartney wants one last crack (at least until another old tape surfaces) to work with songwriting partner John Lennon. Earlier reports had McCartney keen to go back in the studio to add some harmonies to a John Lennon lead vocal track of a song they wrote decades ago called "Now and Then."

The remaining Beatles reportedly considered releasing the song in the 1990s, but George Harrison apparently wasn't happy with the song. McCartney was quoted as saying "It needed a bit of reworking but it had a beautiful verse."

Now, Yoko Ono has apparently chimed in saying she doesn't mind Sir Paul resurrecting the song.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Site Calls for RIAA Boycott
Gizmodo reports: Alright, we've been following the RIAA's increasingly frequent affronts to privacy and free speech lately, and it's about time we stopped merely bitching and moaning and did something about it. The RIAA has the power to shift public policy and to alter the direction of technology and the Internet for one reason and one reason alone: it's totally loaded. Without their millions of dollars to throw at lawyers, the RIAA is toothless. They get their money from us, the consumers, and if we don't like the way they're behaving, we can let them know with our wallets.

With that in mind, Gizmodo is declaring the month of March Boycott the RIAA month. We want to get the word out to as many people as humanly possible that we can all send a message by refusing to buy any album put out by an RIAA label. [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Cat Fight: Faster Pussycat Vs Faster Pussycat
sleazeroxx.com reports: It seems that the two bands calling themselves Faster Pussycat are clawing at each others throats. The other day Taime Downe posted the following message regarding Brent Muscat touring Europe under the Faster Pussycat moniker: "Faster Pussycat is NOT playing Europe in April & May. That is Brent Muscat doing his FP tribute band, playing my songs. We will be on tour in the US in May and Europe in the summer. Sorry it you already bought tickets.

Today Brent Muscat responded to Taime and the fans, claiming to represent 'just the facts': " I legally own the name Faster Pussycat and have been a member of the band since it's inception in 1986. In 2000 Taime made an awful remix cd. It was not until Greg Steele and I threatened him with legal action that we were paid and invited to join our own band. In 2005 I was diagnosed with oral cancer. The band which I had been part of for 20 years all of a sudden replaced me and lied about my condition. I was very hurt that Taime never bothered to call me once.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
