Van Halen Summer Tour

blabbermouth.net reports: AVN.com reports that publicist Janie Liszewski has left the adult industry and her company High Profile Media to embark on a new chapter of her career. Effective immediately, Liszewski will be the exclusive PR rep for rocker Eddie Van Halen.

The publicist's current slate includes the upcoming VAN HALEN tour scheduled for summer 2007. "I am so excited to be given the opportunity to work with such a legendary musical force and look forward to going on the road this summer," she added. "Obviously this is a dream come true in many capacities. I would like to thank everyone for all of their support for so many years."

Rumors continue to swirl that David Lee Roth and Eddie Van Halen will reunite at least one more time in VAN HALEN. � Eddie told Guitar World magazine, "I'm telling Dave, 'Dude, get your ass up here and sing, bitch! Come on!'... As it stands right now, the ball is in Dave's court. Korn Recruit Bozzio?

blabbermouth.net reports: According to Korn.Simpol.Net, Terry Bozzio will fill in for KORN drummer David Silveria during his temporary hiatus from the band, Martini Republic reports.

Bozzio, 56, who is long considered one of the greatest drummers in rock history, will replace David Silveria for at least one studio album and tour.

Bacharach Suicide

AP reports: Nikki Bacharach, daughter of Burt Bacharach and Angie Dickinson, committed suicide, the songwriter and actress said in a statement Friday. 

Nikki Bacharach, 40, suffered from Asperger's Disorder, a form of autism. She killed herself Thursday night at her condo, said Linda Dozoretz, a spokeswoman for the family.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Honeydrippers Reform

blabbermouth.net reports: Britain's's Express & Star reports that Robert Plant will recreate his group THE HONEYDRIPPERS in one of two major coups for a Dudley club.

JBs host the former LED ZEPPELIN frontman and return of THE HONEYDRIPPERS on Valentine's Day.

It is unclear who will be in THE HONEYDRIPPERS' lineup, but the band's album from 1984 featured LED ZEPPELIN guitarist Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck, who has been described by Eric Clapton as "the best guitarist around."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

pr-inside reports: TOWERS OF LONDON rocker DONNY TOURETTE has quit British reality TV show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER - after scaling the wall of the programme's London compound to escape.

The punk singer spent just 48 hours in the celebrity house before fleeing on Friday (05JAN07) night.

Sci-Fi Floyd

PR reports: Legendary musician Roger Waters has recorded the original song "Hello (I Love You)" to be featured in New Line Cinema's upcoming sci-fi film The Last Mimzy (to be released nationwide on March 23rd). Waters collaborated with Academy Award-winning composer Howard Shore (The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and Grammy Award-winning Pink Floyd producer James Guthrie (The Wall) on the song, which marks only the second time Waters has ever recorded an original song specifically for a motion picture.

"It has been great collaborating with (director) Bob Shaye and Howard Shore on The Last Mimzy," says Waters. Marilyn Manson Divorced

TMZ reports: Marilyn Manson's bride gave him an unexpected Christmas present-walking papers. The couple reportedly parted ways on Christmas Eve and Manson's bride filed divorce papers on December 29th. 

Here are a couple of portions of the TMZ report, see the full story for more: TMZ has obtained divorce papers filed by Von Teese, real name Heather Sweet, in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the documents, Von Teese cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for kicking the King of Goth Rock, real name Brian Warner, to the curb. 

While the papers were filed on December 29, a source close to the couple tells Page Six that Manson has been in the dark on the split, because Von Teese can't get in touch with the guy.- Click Here for the Full Story

Wholesale Song Theft

TuneLab reports: Remember the band Mad at Gravity? The group had the hit "Walk Away" in 2002 from their debut 'Resonance'. Well apparently the band Tainted Faith from Phoenix, AZ liked them so much they decided to steal their songs. The "band" have posted the Mad at Gravity tracks "Say It", "Kerosene" and "Coalescence" on their PureVolume page claiming them for their own. And if the above wasn't bad enough, they also have a page on the Ernie Ball Music Man Battle of the Bands contest for a slot on the Taste of Chaos tour where they are actually selling the tracks.
