(CMJ) Cincinnatti grunger groovers, the Afghan Whigs, will get a Rhino release for their new greatest hits album, Unbreakable (A Retrospective), May 1. The collection includes songs from their Sub Pop releases, Up in It, Congregation and Uptown Avondale; the band's Elektra albums, Gentlemen and Black Love; and the Columbia LP 1965. In addition to the 16 classic Whigs cuts, the record also features two brand new songs, "I'm A Soldier" and "Magazine," recorded when singer/guitarist Greg Dulli, bassist John Curley, guitarist Rick McCollum and drummer Michael Horrigan reunited last fall.[see full story for tracklist] - Click here for the Full Story
