Launched in 2002, the label was originally headed by Century Media co-owner Robert Kampf. Roughly two years ago Abacus and Century Media split, with Kampf choosing to relinquish his portion of ownership.
Details regarding the latest arrangement between the two entities are scant, but it appears that certain Abacus bands will now be brought over to the Century Media roster. - more on this story
