MySpace For Rejects
Big Hassle reports: MySpace Music is proud to announce the premiere of When the World Comes Down, the new album from The All-American Rejects. Starting today, fans across the country will be able to stream the entire album for free, giving fans a chance to preview it before the official release on December 16th. The Stillwater, Oklahoma, foursome has been hard at work with producer Eric Valentine (Third Eye Blind, Good Charlotte, Queens of the Stoneage) since 2007 on the record, which follows 2005's double-platinum album, Move Along.

"If Jesus comes back tomorrow with an iPod, When the World Comes Down will be the only record on his 'walking on water' playlist. We could find no greater worthy platform than MySpace Music to premiere this record for our beloved, deserving fans" said Tyson Ritter, lead vocalist for The All-American Rejects.

Recently, the band conducted a karaoke contest on MySpace Karaoke in which fans competed for a chance to meet the band at an All-American Rejects concert of their choosing, in addition to winning the wardrobe from the music video, by uploading videos of themselves singing the album's first single, "Gives You Hell." Winners will be announced on December 23rd.

Jamie Foxx Steals Howard Stern Tagline and Announces New CD
PR reports: Intuition, the new album from Academy Award winning actor, singer, musician, comedian, and radio personality Jamie Foxx, is set for release next Tuesday, December 16th. Ignited by the hit single "Just Like Me" featuring T.I., along with the tremendous early buzz on "She Got Her Own" featuring Ne-Yo and Fabolous, the excitement behind Foxx's return to music with Intuition demonstrates his staying power as one of today's most multi-talented entertainers.

Making its premiere on Myspace during the Thanksgiving holiday, the hilarious Brett Ratner-directed video for "Just Like Me" is currently No. 7 on BET's 106 & Park and has been added to MTV and several of their network properties.

"The King of all Media" [Doesn't that title belong to Howard Stern?] enlisted an all-star cast of award winning artists and producers including T.I., Lil Wayne, Kanye West, T-Pain, Timbaland, Just Blaze, Tricky, The Dream, Ne-Yo, Salaam Remi and more. To complement the production diversity on Intuition, Foxx switches his vocal delivery on several songs ranging from the vocoder-infused "Blame It," the Southern preacher drawl on "I Don't Need It," and his signature smooth voice on "I Don't Know." The 15-track disc runs the musical scope of party starters and quintessential slow jams showcased on such stellar tracks as "Number One" featuring Lil Wayne, "Weekend Lover" and more.

Saves The Day And Say Anything Members Bring Us Two Tongues
PR reports: Two Tongues, the new band featuring Max Bemis and Coby Linder of Say Anything along with Chris Conley and David Soloway of Saves The Day, announce a February 3, 2009 release for their self-titled debut. The thirteen-track self-produced disc was recorded late last year at Electric Ladybug studios in Northern California.

Max Bemis comments on the genesis of the project: "Chris has been my favorite songwriter since I was 15. Ten years later he is now is one of my closest friends. The Two Tongues record is really an expression of the yin and yang; how two "opposite" souls stimulate and battle each other in any truly loving relationship. Chris inspired me as a mentor, hero and friend, and I inspired him as someone who truly cherishes his work that he can respect in his own right. Chris sometimes looks down on himself but is inside a very strong, almost Buddha-like centered soul; I have that whole Steven Tyler/Jerry Lewis extrovert personality onstage but I'm a totally neurotic, restless soul inside. We as two people, therefore, express two sides of a coin. Making the record, and it being the first band either of us has ever been in outside of Say Anything or Saves the Day, was sort of like falling in love for the second time; you have to look outside of yourself and learn to communicate with and trust someone who operates in a totally different manner. Ironically, while making this record I met the girl I am now in love with, so I was experiencing the same thing in the form of friendship with Chris as I was in getting to know this female person. So whether you want to look at the record as songs about two people starting a romantic relationship or this dynamic of how inspiration operates between two people, that's your choice. We hope it functions on both levels. Either way, it's a dream come true for me, and a true labor of love."

Wentz Won't Whore Baby Photos
Hecklerspray reports: Everyone wants to see Bronx Mowgli Wentz because if the face matches the name then that's one ugly baby.

But cool your jets, world. Pete Wentz doesn't roll like those other celebrity idiots. True, he does roll like those other celebrity idiots in that he's got a stupid haircut, a humiliatingly-named baby and he married one of the Simpson girls without really thinking it through first, but Pete Wentz definitely isn't selling his baby photos to a magazine.

Bronx Mowgli's just too precious for that. Plus it'll mean that now Pete'll make a crapload from selling the reality TV show rights. A crapload.... Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson, then, because they've decided not to sell pictures of their baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz to the highest bidder. - more on this story

Love on the Rocks? Paul Anka's Wife Arrested for Assaulting Singer With Ice
TMZ reports: Paul Anka's wife got arrested after she allegedly split his head open with a piece of ice. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the alleged incident occurred on Nov 28 at the couple's home in Thousand Oaks, just outside of L.A.

We're told that Paul and Anna, who have a kid together but married just last summer, got into an argument that turned physical. Our sources say during the brouhaha, an ice bucket hit the ground and Anna picked up a piece of ice and threw a fast ball, hitting Paul in the noggin.

Paul went to the hospital, got two staples put in his head to close the wound, returned home and called the cops at 3:05 the next morning to report Anna missing. When cops arrived Anna wasn't there but when she returned they arrested and booked her for felony domestic battery.

The Ventura County D.A.'s office rejected the case, though they're not saying why. - more on this story

Indigo Girls Go It Alone For New CD
PR reports: It's been two decades since the Indigo Girls launched their career with their independently released debut album, 1987's Strange Fire. Now, after entertaining millions of fans with their 10 major-label studio albums (nine on Epic Records and one, 2006's Despite Our Differences, on Hollywood Records), Emily Saliers and Amy Ray have come full circle with the independent release of their new 2-CD album, Poseidon And The Bitter Bug, on their new label IG Recordings, distributed through Vanguard Records.

The new album reunites the Grammy-winning duo with veteran producer, arranger and keyboardist Mitchell Froom (Elvis Costello, Paul McCartney, Los Lobos and others), who worked on the Indigo Girls' acclaimed 2006 release, Despite Our Differences. Longtime bassist Clare Kenny, drummer Matt Chamberlin and engineer David Boucher make up the rest of the core band but the sound is pure Indigo Girls, with uplifting, effortless harmonies; honest, passionately involved lyrics and infectious melodies.

"Mitchell was able to build a bridge between Emily's songs and my songs more successfully than anyone we've worked with, says Ray, "he's a musicians' musician and has a very clear idea of what will work." Adds Saliers, "He likes Amy's music and he likes my music, which is not the easiest thing to find because we are so different and our songs are different."

. Lords - F**k All Ya'll Motherf**kers
Lords gives us 25 minutes of completely unhinged, violent, black-metal laced with words of wisdom tucked deceptively underneath a torrential down pouring of sound. Listening to this album made me feel violent, torn-up and dirty. And I liked it. (4 stars) - Read the full Lords - F**k All Ya'll Motherf**kers review

. The Wedding - The Sound the Steel
The Wedding is pretty competent when it comes to crafting punky, guitar heavy, radio ready ditties. Hopefully, though, the band just writes these kinds of songs to keep its label happy, because it doesn't truly shine until the pianos kick in (4 stars) - Read the full The Wedding - The Sound the Steel review
