Carlos Santana The Multi Dimensional Warrior
Sony reports: Multi Dimensional Warrior is a unique project, with every track personally selected and sequenced by Carlos Santana to create an engaging journey through a soundscape of moods and feelings.

In an unprecedented concept, disc one comprises 14 vocal performances chosen from albums spanning the 1970s, '80s, '90s, and '00s, while disc two comprises 14 instrumental performances from albums covering the same years. Multi Dimensional Warrior is the first anthology to include tracks from the band's three major label associations: Columbia, Polydor/ PolyGram, and Arista/BMG. With just three exceptions, all of the albums represented on disc one are different than the albums represented on disc two. Carlos Santana supervised new overdubs to five tracks on the set. He personally added guitar to "Spirit" and "Right Now," Santana band member Chester Thompson contributed piano to "Let There Be Light," and Barbara Higbie added harp to "Praise" and "Let There Be Light."

Multi Dimensional Warrior will arrive in stores October 14th on Columbia/Legacy, a division of Sony Bmg Music EntertainMent. We'll let Carlos describe it more detail for you - right here

A New Music Reality Show That Looks Even More Scripted Than Gene Simmons Family Jewels
PR reports: Metal Pioneer, Willie Basse has signed on to appear in the new reality TV series, "Rockstar Reality". The series documents a day in the life and times of Basse as he makes the transition from real estate agent, back into rock n roll.

The series will offer fans a behind the scene look at everything from the search to find homes for spoiled child stars (Darius McCrary - "Family Matters"), to forming a band of rock legends and a glimpse into the underbelly of the music business as Willie deals with his bandmates, immigration for his keyboard player, greedy managers, booking agents, etc. all while preparing for his impending world tour.

The first episode features manager, Robert Fitzpatrick, who has been in the music business since the '60s and has worked with artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who, as well as custom guitar amp guru, Mike Morin, who has built amps for everyone from Korn and Linkin Park to Jimmy Eats World and John Fogerty.

There was no mention of where in the hell this thing will supposedly air, but they have posted a trailer online which does make Gene Simmons' reality show look far less scripted. - Check it out here

38 Doors Down Special Studio
PR reports: Chris Henderson (of 3 Doors Down) and Bobby Capps (of .38 Special) have officially opened the doors to their recording studio in Hendersonville, TN. Rivergate Studios (which takes its name from Henderson's previous studio in Mississippi) was formerly known as Hipp Studios and is a full service complex with state-of-the-art Protools HD3 and plenty of Class A preamps. The studio boasts four isolated booths and a drum room, as well as A and B control rooms. Also on site is a separate rehearsal facility.

Henderson and Capps work together at the Rock Ridge Music label where Henderson is a principal in the company and Capps is a consultant with the role of A&R Manager (he recently signed the Benjy Davis Project to the label). Says Capps about the studio plans: "I've had the wonderful opportunity to work with Chris and his partners at Rock Ridge. I happened upon this studio and Chris and I both liked the potential and agreed it was a no-brainer. It has been an outlet for us to explore new avenues. Chris holds his own as a producer and I am looking forward to putting the experience we've gained throughout our career to work for us as a team." Agrees Henderson: "I'm very excited about the studio space being in the Nashville area and I look forward to working with Bobby at Rivergate."
