Sandpeople Invade The West
PR reports: Sandpeople are preparing for a three-week, ten-stop tour throughout various west-coast and mountain states to promote their upcoming EP release Long Story, Short... due out May 26th on self-managed record label Sandpeople Music.

The tour will begin in Bellingham, Washington on April 23rd, move across the north into Montana and down through Colorado and Arizona, and then heads west for three stops in California, wrapping up in Sacramento on May, 15th.

Sandpeople will only be touring with five of their ten members due to a pending fatherhood among other issues, but all notable group members will be coming out for the tour, but half a roster will most certainly not result in half a show. Group member Ethic says of the upcoming tour, "The Long Story, Short... tour is a welcomed road trip after taking some time off to record. We expect to see plenty of familiar faces that we met on the Child Support Tour with Luckyiam, and likely lose a liver or two in the process. This EP is one of the best projects to come out of our camp, and we're stoked to see it finally ready for release." - more on this story

Taco Bell Using Free Music To Pimp Their Food
Submitted News reports: For the last three years, Taco Bell has been hard at work feeding bands on tour as part of their Feed The Beat program. Taco Bell re-launched www.feedthebeat.com and is currently offering free MP3 downloads from the winners of the program. Some of the winners invested their winnings into recording new music while others opted to go different route. Regardless, the singular mission was clear for Taco Bell, work to help expose the public to the best in new music.

Go to www.feedthebeat.com and download brand new songs from Hit The Lights and Thousand Foot Krutch as well as get a free download from Fireflight. Also, next time you head to your local Taco Bell for some eats, be sure to read up on the bands on the sauce packets.

Country Star Robbed, Posts Most Wanted Poster
Luck Media reports: Minnesota based rising country star Shane Wyatt is asking for his guitars back or else! On Wednesday, April 8, Wyatt's home in Eden Prairie was broken into and among the $15,000 in stolen property are two guitars Martin Acoustic Guitar (DC-16GTE Aura) and a Fender Telecaster (52 Reissue). Both guitars are Wyatt's performance guitars and mean a lot to him, especially the Fender Telecaster, which was a gift from his wife.

The singer/songwriter, who performs multiple four hour sets every weekend around the Twin Cities and beyond, which include lots of guitar playing, has this message for the burglars:

"To the people who broke into my house in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and stole my stuff (including my Martin DC-16RGTE AURA and my 52 Reissue Tele), I respectfully ask that you return it as soon as possible. You bring it back and we are square... no questions asked. If you have already sold the guitars, then keep the money - you are gonna need it for doctor bills when I find you.
