Steven Adler Arrested
Blabbermouth reports: Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler was arrested on Monday, January 26 and charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance a misdemeanor. He was released the same day at 10:50 a.m. on $50,527 bail. No court date has been set.

Steven's representatives tell an online tabloid that Adler was **NOT** under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest. Adler who was busted last July for possession of narcotics, being under the influence and for an outstanding warrant, and was ordered by the court to stay at the Pasadena Recovery Center was arrested this past Monday because he hadn't finished his community service in the time frame given by the judge.

The representatives say Adler went to register as a drug offender also court-ordered on January 26, when cops acted on the arrest warrant stemming from the unfinished community service. He was charged with "being under the influence of a controlled substance" because that was the original charge from his July arrest.

Duff McKagan Moonlighting With Playboy
MusicRadar reports: Some guys will go to extreme lengths to get into the Playboy Mansion. Take Velvet Revolver's Duff McKagan. The bassist has signed on to write a financial column for Playboy.

OK, in truth, the married, father of two could probably swing an invite to Hef's crib anytime he wants (though we don't know how Mrs. McKagan would feel about that), but what the heck does he know about the world of big business?

Quite a lot, actually. After the original Guns N' Roses lineup splintered, McKagan moved back to Seattle and went to business school. He was just one semester shy of his Bachelor's Degree before Velvet Revolver started, but still, he learned plenty. Deja Beatles
MusicRadar reports: On 30 January 1969, the greatest band in the world, The Beatles, performed on the roof of Apple Corp at No. 3 Saville Row, London. Their 42-minute set was cut short by the Metropolitan Police as ecstatic crowds gathered below.

Forty years later, it happened again, only this time it was just two gents, Andre Barreau and Dave Catlin-Birch, who were given the boot by the Westminster Council. But Barreau and Catlin-Birch are George and Paul in The Bootleg Beatles, and their expulsion from Apple Studios is especially noteworthy.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of The Beatles' last-ever 'concert,' The Bootleg Beatles intended to recreate this historic event by heading up to the very same roof. This time, however, the performance was stopped before a note was played. - more on this story
