(hennemusic) Sammy Hagar And The Circle are streaming their latest album, "Crazy Times." The project - which features new music from Hagar, guitarist Vic Johnson, bassist Michael Anthony, and drummer Jason Bonham - also includes a cover of the Elvis Costello & The Attractions tune, "Pump It Up."

The band recorded with producer Dave Cobb at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville, TN. "Working with Dave Cobb for the first time was enlightening," explains Hagar. (read more)


Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne and Pantera) has shared a trailer for his brand new Zakk Wylde Berzerker Guitar Camp, that he created via Riffhard.

We were sent these details: The online course - it is not really a camp - is suitable for guitar players of all levels, from beginners to advanced guitarists. Zakk teaches his signature techniques like pinch harmonics and vibrato as well as many of his most famous songs and solos. He's joined by Black Label Society guitarist Dario Lorina to round out the course with his own perspective on how to replicate Zakk's style. (read more)


The 2022 installment of the Bowl For Ronnie Celebrity Bowling Party, benefiting the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund, is set to return on Thursday, November 17, 2022 after a three-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The event, to be held at PINZ Bowling Center in Studio City, California, will once again be hosted by television and radio personality Eddie Trunk, who is heard on SiriusXM's Volume channel. (read more)


Ed Sheeran has announced that he will be launching a North American stadium leg of his "+ - = รท x Tour" ("The Mathematics Tour") next spring.

The tour will be kicking off on May 6th. 2023 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, and will conclude on September 23rd, 2023 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. (read more)

Austin rock duo Life The Curse recently released their latest single, "Call it What It Is", and to celebrate we asked them to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

"Call It What It Is" was initially spawned from the main piano progression. The first line "You think that you know me" popped in my head as I was playing the piano part. I instantly knew the direction the song was going to go lyrically based on that first line. (continue)


Arctic Monkeys have announced that they will be launching a North American tour next summer to support their forthcoming album, "The Car," which arrives on October 21st.

They have recruited the Irish band Fontaines D.C. to support them on the trek that is set to kick off on August 25th, 2023 in Minneapolis, MN at The Armory. (read more)


A Day To Remember have announced that they will be unplugging for their Reassembled: Acoustic Theater Tour this winter that will feature support from Wage War, who will also be unplugging for the trek.

The tour will be kicking off on November 29th at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN and will wrap up on December 21st in Orlando at The Dr. Philips Center. (read more)


Miranda Lambert has announced that she will return to the stage at ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! tomorrow, October 4th, for a performance of her current single, "Strange."

Former Fleetwood Mac star Lindsey Buckingham has been forced to cancel the remaining dates of his UK/European tour due to ongoing health issues.

Buckingham was scheduled to perform in Glasgow, Liverpool and Dublin this week. His camp broke the news via Twitter with the following tweet, "Due to ongoing health issues, Lindsey is regrettably having to cancel the remaining shows on his current European tour. (read more)


Reba McEntire has announced that she has added a new leg to Reba: Live In Concert tour that will be feature 14 new dates next spring and will feature support from special guests Terri Clark and The Isaacs

The spring 2023 leg is set to launch on March 9th in Jacksonville, FL at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena and will wrap up with Reba's very first performance at Madison Square Garden on April 15th. (read more)


U2 frontman Bono has announced that he will be launching a 14-city book tour to promote his forthcoming memoir, "SURRENDER: 40 Songs, One Story", which will be hitting stores on November 1st.

The Stories of Surrender Tour will be kicking off on November 2nd in New York City at the Beacon Theatre and will include several U.S. stops, along with dates in Bono's hometown of Dublin, London, Paris, Berlin, Glasgow and will conclude in Madrid on November 28th. (read more)


Former Iron Maiden frontman Paul Di'Anno took the stage this weekend at the Keep It True Rising II Festival in Wurzburg, Germany, just one day after he released from the hospital.

Di'Anno underwent surgery on his leg last month in Croatia after spending seven years in a wheelchair. His caregiver Stjepan Juras shared the following after the surgery:

"In short... the operation is over, the doctor is satisfied, he solved the problem. Paul's skin is now being stitched up and he will be woken up soon. If the wound heals well, the operation can be considered a success." (read more)


Rush have shared a video of their performance of "Working Man" from the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in Los Angeles and also reflected on performing their final concert with Neil Peart on the same stage.

The special all-star tribute event for the late Foo Fighters drummer took place at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Ca on September 27th and Rush's Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson took the state at the concert with Dave Grohl, Red Hot Chili Pepper's Chad Smith, Tool's Danny Carey playing drums. (read more)


Joey Vera has broken the bad news to fans that he will not be joining Mercyful Fate on their North American reunion tour due to his prior commitment to his other band, Armored Saint.

The King Diamond fronted band are set to launch the tour on October 25th in Dallas, TX at The Factory and have recruited bassist Becky Baldwin to fill in for Vera of the trek. (read more)

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary the release of the classic album Big Star #1 Record, benefit concert producers the Wild Honey Foundation and Big Star founder Jody Stephens will present a live performance of this legendary LP, performed in its entirety and in order by Jody Stephen's all-star ensemble.

Bonus songs from Big Star's Radio City ("September Gurls"), Big Star Third, and Chris Bell solo material will also be performed.
