Guns N' Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold and Korn have been named as the headliners of this year's Aftershock Music Festival that will taking place at Discovery Park in Sacramento, CA on October 5th through 8th.

The event will also feature performances from Godsmack, Pantera, Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Rancid, Turnstile, 311, The Cult, AFI, I Prevail, Dance Gavin Dance and many more. Jose "Metal Ambassador" Mangin will once again be acting as the host for the festival. (continue)

Love And Rockets, the seminal, groundbreaking trio of Daniel Ash, David J, and Kevin Haskins, has announced a round of dates that follow their performance at this year's Cruel World Festival on May 20th in Pasadena, CA.

Forming in 1985 after the first split of their band Bauhaus, Love and Rockets provided a clean slate and an opportunity to plumb the depths of imagination and influences. Named after the underground comic by the Hernandez brothers, the band made seven records over the course of thirteen years. (continue)

Avenged Sevenfold have released a music video for their brand new single, "Nobody", which is their first new single since 2016 and comes from their forthcoming album, "Life Is But a Dream..." that will arrive on June 2nd.

Temples have shared a music video for their new single, "Afterlife". Produced by labelmate Sean Ono Lennon and mixed by GRAMMY Award-winner Dave Fridmann (The Flaming Lips, Mercury Rev, MGMT), "Afterlife" heralds the British psychedelic rock quartet's long awaited new album, Exotico, arriving everywhere via ATO Records on Friday, April 14.

Indie rockers Mister Rabbit are gearing up to release their debut album, "End Of History Illusion," on March 30th, and to celebrate we asked singer and guitarist Jeff van Helvoort to tell us about the single, "Anyone". Here is the story:

"Anyone" came to be around 9 years ago. It was within a year of my previous band, Teenage Kicks, breaking up so I was trying to find my footing as a songwriter with my own voice outside of a project that had been largely dominated by my brother's voice & songs.

At the same time, my personal life was... in shambles. I was struggling to get over a former relationship and I was making a lot of the bad decisions that an insecure 20-something makes when they can't deal with their emotions in a healthy manner. While this is happening, a very close friend of mine (who had a boyfriend) told me she was in love with me and my former partner was asking for forgiveness, so that's where the first lines comes from (Everybody wants something that I can't give em, yeah, they all want a little love or a little forgiving). Out of all the poor decisions I made in that time, I did determine there was a song in what was happening and started writing. (continue)
