Jordan Blake, the original frontman of A Skylit Drive, has died, according to a social media post by the band. A cause of death has not been revealed.

The band broke the news to fans with the following Facebook post, ""We are overwhelmed with grief to inform you of the loss of Jordan early this morning. Jordan was a trail blazer in the emo/post hardcore music scene with undeniable passion who loved his fans like family. When he had a story to tell, you could read it in his lyrics, hear it in his voice, see it his movements and feel it in your depths. We will forever reflect fondly on the memories and music we shared. We love you Jordan, we'll see you down the road brother. 'Always in our Hearts'. (continue)

Following the huge, sell-out success of Swanfest 2022, the one-day festival headlined and curated by Dance Gavin Dance, has today announced the festival's first ever East Coast edition, taking place at Mann Center, in Philadelphia, PA on Sunday, October 1st.

M3 Rock Festival in Columbia, MD is the quintessential music event for the people who lived through the decade of decadence and their children who have learned to love the era's iconic heavy metal sound. This year the two-day event takes place Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7at the Merriweather Post Pavilion.

And who better to be bring to M3 as an ambassador of arena rock than Steven Adler of Guns N' Roses fame? Adler and GNR were inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2012. In fact, both Slash and Izzy Stradlin credit Adler with being the anchor to the signature sound that catapulted the band to popularity and fame. (continue)

(hennemusic) Ann Wilson of Heart has announced dates for a summer tour of North America. The singer will be joined for the shows by her backing band Tripsitter, which features lead guitarist Ryan Wariner, bassist Tony Lucido, Paul Moak on guitar and keyboards, and drummer Sean Lane.

Set to open July 7 in Toronto, ON, the two-month series scheduled to wrap up in Syracuse, NY on August 30. Wilson's most recent release is 2022's "Fierce Bliss", which included a mix of original tracks and songs originally recorded by the Eurythmics, Robin Trower, and Queen, and featured guest appearances by Vince Gill, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and all four members of Gov't Mule: Warren Haynes, Danny Louis, Jorgen Carlsson and Matt Abts. Hard rock band The Lonely Ones announced new tour dates for this summer!

Formed in the summer of 2019, The Lonely Ones are a four piece, vocal-oriented hard rock band with an ear for melody and a taste for success. The group features Marty McCoy on guitar / vocals, Tommy Johnson on drums, Jymmy Tolland on guitar / vocals and Tru Roberts on bass / vocals. Being no strangers to the hardships of the music industry, The Lonely Ones consist of former members of Bobaflex. Together, they knew what they wanted and knew how to get it; by combining their knowledge and experiences to achieve a common goal. With determined perseverance and an energized drive to triumph, they were ready to release their first two singles independently in March of 2020; with the titles "Eternal Sadness" and "The Lonely One." Denver, CO based, metal band Mind Incision has released their new single, "Zero230"! Produced by Dave Otero at Flatline Audio, "Zero230" is off of the band's upcoming, debut EP, The First Cut.

"'Zero230' is inspired by soldiers who are suffering from PTSD or anyone that knows someone who is or has suffered in the past. In this song we talk about how a soldier wakes up in the middle of the night from dreams that take him back to the war and how it affects his/her everyday life. (continue)

Kind Beast just released 'Highway Madness', the lead single from their forthcoming album, "Dirty Realism". To celebrate we asked Sean Madigan Hoen to tell us about the track. Here is the story:

I started travelling North America when I was eighteen and the "drive all night" ethos was a thing that felt immediately close to heart. There were times when those trips were aided by psychotropic substances, but even without such favors I'd occasionally, due to sleep deprivation, hallucinate: the sky fragmenting; strange light ripping apart clouds; weird beasts soaring above. One recurring vision was that of wolves running headlong down the center of the road. I know that once or twice travelling companions awoke to my screams. I learned also of the crazy freedom one can feel driving deserts and seemingly endless plains, seeing lightning storms miles in the distance-I was escaping troublesome circumstances and losing myself, not really concerned with finding anything....
