Queen have announced that they will be celebrating Record Store Day 2025 with the release of a special 12'' vinyl edition of "Queen: De Lane Lea Demos - 2024 Mix". Hollywood Records sent over these details:
De Lane Lea Demos -This is the pristine 2024 Mix originally featured in CD format as part of the band's heavyweight "Queen I" box set release last year. Now available on 12" vinyl for the very first time, it is testament to the fascinating pre-history of the band's first album, originally titled "Queen". These are the demos the band recorded preceding the recording of that album. In summer 1969, Brian and Roger's pre-Queen group, Smile, had already recorded at De Lane Lea Studios in London's Kingsway. Two years later, the company opened a new complex in Wembley, and needed a band to help them test their new equipment and the sound quality of the different rooms. (continue)
Imagine Dragons have announced that a new concert film will be hitting movie theaters on March 26th and 29th. The film was captured during the final show of their Loom North American Tour featuring the LA Film Orchestra with special arrangements from legendary game composer Inon Zur.

Def Leppard have shared a music video for their recently released cover of the Ben E. King classic "Stand By Me" with "proceeds from the track will be donated to FireAid to assist in both short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout Southern California."
Frontman Joe Elliott said of the cover, "Los Angeles & its surrounding area has always played a central role in Def Leppard's career, from it being where some of us are based and it being our U.S. hub for rehearsals, to being the city where we played our first-ever American gig. A pivotal moment in Oasis' storied history, Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants marked the start of a new era for the band. "Go Let It Out" was the first release on Noel and Liam Gallagher's own label Big Brother Recordings Ltd, established in January 2000 following the sudden closure of Oasis' former UK label Creation Records. Big Brother's debut release was rushed into production and released on February 7th, 2000, only seven weeks after the label's inception. (continue)
Elton John and Brandi Carlile unveil the music video for their brand new single "Who Believes In Angels?." Directed by visionary photographer and director David LaChapelle, the video follows Wednesday's announcement of Elton and Brandi's collaborative studio album Who Believes In Angels?, set for release on April 4th via Interscope Records.
David LaChapelle and Elton are regular collaborators, having first met when David photographed Elton for Interview Magazine in 1998. They've worked together many times since then, with David directing the music videos for Elton's tracks "This Train Don't Stop There Anymore" with Justin Timberlake, and "Original Sin" with Elizabeth Taylor and Mandy Moore, as well as shooting the poster for Elton's Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour and directing his Red Piano residency in Las Vegas. David's celebrated "Egg on You Face" photo is one of the crown jewels in Elton and David Furnish's photography collection, which was recently on show at London's V&A Museum for their Fragile Beauty exhibition.
