Maneskin frontman Damiano David has shared a music video for his cover of Mark Ronson feat. Miley Cyrus' 2018 worldwide hit 'Nothing Breaks Like A Heart'. The track was originally released in January as part of this year's 'Spotify Singles for Valentine's Day' series.

Shot in Damiano's hometown of Rome, the video oscillates between intimate close shots of Damiano and his performance, backed by moody low lighting to perfectly capture the raw emotion Damiano instills in the song and the intensity of his performance. The video was shot at the Forum Studio, where the music of Italian composer and orchestrator Ennio Morricone was recorded . Speaking on this, Damiano says: "Whenever I've had an urgent need to cut a song I've always done it at Ennio's studio, so it was nice to go back and shoot this video and spend some proper time there. It really feels like you're in the presence of an icon there, and especially being in my home of Rome, it always feels very special." (continue)

Underoath have shared a music video for their new single "All The Love Is Gone". The track comes from their forthcoming album "The Place After This One", which will arrive on March 28th.

vocalist Spencer Chamberlain calls the new track "...one of the most out-there songs we've ever written. We really wanted to create a track that was drum-and-bass-driven, kind of in the vein of The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Noisia, etc. We also pulled elements from Justice and The Streets.

"There's a darkness to those artists that's so heavy and interesting to me, and we really wanted to embrace that on this song. To me, this is kind of our version of that-sharing a lot of those elements and vibes but still keeping the heaviness of Underoath at its core.

"Lyrically, I wrote it from the place I used to go whenever something went wrong in my life, which I think we can all relate to. It's a place I now consciously avoid when things fall apart. But it's that moment when everything in your life has fallen apart, you're at the bar, and you just don't care anymore. Maybe it's the end of a relationship, the loss of a friend or family member, or you just got fired-whatever it may be, we've all had a night like this. It's a scary feeling, and it's a place I never want to go back to, but that's the song in a nutshell. It's pretty on the nose, so to speak, but I felt like I needed to write it down to remind myself to never go there again."

Guitarist Tim McTague had this to say about the new album, "The Place After This One is a multi-faceted idea. The fact that we grew up so sheltered and spiritual, and are trying to reconcile how we grew up against what we see now in the new age. Underoath, albeit intact and the same, is simultaneously so different. (continue)

Head Automatica have dropped the sultry new song "Annulment," which operates off a beat that sounds like your own heart. Only their second song to be released in over 18 years, "Annulment" is the hypnotic, modern love song answer to their iconic and beloved track "Beating Heart Baby" from 2004.

A song that has the power to get stuck in your head, "Beating Heart Baby" showed the world the undeniable natural charisma of their frontman, landing Palumbo the unofficial dreamboat title of the alternative scene. Dubbed by VICE as "one of the greatest emo hits of the 2000s"; by SPIN as one of "the 40 best emo love songs," and reported by Alternative Press "one of the century's best tracks ever," there is very little room to find flaw in the delivery, the energy, and the mood that a Head Automatica hit track cultivates. Covered by alt favorites, Waterparks, and listed by Hayley Williams of Paramore as one of her favorite songs, "Beating Heart Baby" still stands up today as one of the very best alternative love songs of rock history. British blues-rock powerhouse Joanne Shaw Taylor continues to build anticipation for her forthcoming album Black & Gold with the release of her latest single, "Hell Of A Good Time"-an energetic, hard-hitting track that blends her signature fiery guitar work with infectious rock & roll swagger. The song delivers a raucous, no-holds-barred performance while carrying a deeper reflection on the fleeting nature of excess and escape.

"Hell Of A Good Time" is a song about how sometimes a party isn't really a party at all," Joanne explains. "How drinking to excess and always being the life and soul of the party is usually one person's way of running away from themselves. Unfortunately, that lifestyle can't last forever and usually ends up not being a lot of fun." (continue)

Chicago-based four-piece Falling Stars released their "Garden Variety" EP last summer and are gearing up for a busy 2025. To celebrate we asked Andy Mead to tell us about their single "Waiting For Love" to help us celebrate Valentine's Day! Here is the story:

There are so many ways that songs collide with you, challenging you to snag them before they whip down the slide right past you. We've all heard those bits, "what comes first, the words or the music?" and "Waiting for Love" started with the first line - "We're all waiting for a good thing, waiting for the pills to kick in." Though really, "Pills" could be anything, right? Fresh air? A hug? Someone answers the phone? This was really about someone close to me struggling to find some mental health balance and stability and it happened to involve getting on some meds...sometimes a good thing! (continue)
