The Bethel Woods Center for the Arts have announced that Bret Michaels, Vince Neil, and Stephen Pearcy will be bringing a Parti-Gras show to their stage this summer.
The Poison, Motley Crue and Ratt frontman will be performing at the venue in Bethel, NY on Sunday, August 3rd with tickets set to go on sale this Friday, February 21st. (continue)

Russ Ballard has shared a video for his new rendition of "God Gave Rock N' Roll To You", the song that he penned that was a hit for both Argent and KISS.
Ballard had this to say, "It reflected the optimism I felt at the time, with lines like 'love your friend, love your neighbour, love your life and love your labour, it's never too late to change your mind.' Guns N' Roses, Tool, and Rival Sons have reportedly been added to Ozzy Osbourne's farewell concert, the Back To The Beginning event that will be taking place in his hometown of Birmingham, England this summer.
The special show on July 5th at Villa Park in Birmingham will also include the reunion of Black Sabbath's original lineup of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. (continue)
Dropkick Murphys and Bad Religion will be co-headlining for the first time during their U.S. Summer Of Discontent Tour with openers The Mainliners from July 22 through August 17.

The 40th anniversary of Tears For Fears' "Songs From The Big Chair" album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.
Redbeard shared this synopsis for the episode: Recording an album that a million people purchase is no mean feat, but doing so is not always a benchmark of musical quality. Celebrity (and notoriety), timing, even technology such as the viral internet video can propel the likes of Milli Vanilli, Billy Ray Cyrus, Vanilla Ice, and Ashlee Simpson past the million sales mark, only to be relegated at astounding speed to trivia contests at best, punch-lines at the worst. However, to get over ten million or more people to buy your album, as in the case of Tears for Fears and Songs from the Big Chair, released February 1985, is in no way trivial or a joke. (read more)

After my previous projects, "Four" has become a personal album again and the first single 'Courage' is about my love for my Mexican wife.
