Following a two week sequence of sold-out arena shows, including a double in Los Angeles at the Forum - multi-platinum GRAMMY Award-winning Deftones announce the extension of their 2025 North American Tour with a second leg, produced by Live Nation.

The next round of dates commences on August 22 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC and continues in arenas across Canada and the United States, including Rocket Arena in Cleveland, OH on September 10 and Ball Arena in Denver, CO on September 15. (continue)

The Doobie Brothers have released new single "Learn to Let Go" as an Instant Grat track off their upcoming new studio album WALK THIS ROAD. "Learn to Let Go" is the 4th focus track off the highly anticipated studio album and was written by Michael McDonald and producer John Shanks. The track features all three principal vocalists - McDonald, Pat Simmons and Tom Johnston.

McDonald ponders hard-earned wisdom on the track which features the kind of laid-back groove that made the Doobie Brothers famous. "It's a song about what might be the hardest lesson we learn and one of the last things we do in this life," McDonald says.

Punk veteran Frank Meyer has just released his new duet with The Runaways' Cherie Currie entitled "Piece Of Me". The track comes from Frank's forthcoming solo debut album, "Living Between The Lines" that is set to hit on March 25th.

"People tell me they like my music. People tell Cherie she changed their lives," says punk stalwart Frank Meyer about Cherie Currie of The Runaways. "I get it. She certainly changed mine." While it's common for normal everyday people to fanboy/fangirl over their favorite musicians, it's always refreshing to hear celebs gushing over other celebs. So when he was writing his new single "Piece of Me" from his solo debut, he asked Cherie to sing with him. "It was an honor to have her write and sing this duet with me." (continue)

Warbringer is preparing to unleash their highly anticipated new album Wrath And Ruin, out March 14, 2025 via Napalm Records. Today, they unlock the crypt containing their ghoulish third single "Through A Glass, Darkly" alongside a shell shocked official music video.

The mini epic "Through A Glass, Darkly", was inspired by a poem from WWII general George Patton, who was convinced that he was a reincarnation of an eternal warrior spirit who had fought and died on countless battlefields throughout history. Bachman Turner-Overdrive will kick off their Back In Overdrive Tour 2025 in Victoria, BC. The massive tour consists of 22 shows across Canada which will wrap up in Halifax, Nova Scotia on May 8. They'll be joined by multi-platinum April Wine and Headpins, two fellow Canadian rock bands, who will open in support.

BTO will also be releasing a new single, titled "60 Years Ago," which will be available to stream everywhere on March 28. Proceeds from the song will go to The Bridge to Nowhere charity ride, produced in partnership by Brothers of the Fork and Hockey Helps the Homeless. (continue)

Sammy Hagar has paid tribute to John Pruner, the man the former Van Halen frontman calls the original "Redhead", who helped earn Sammy the moniker of the "Red Rocker".

Hagar shared via social media, "In 1976 I had just released the red album. I was playing one of my first concerts in Seattle Washington supporting that record with the song RED being the single. The next morning, I was checking out of the hotel and John Pruner the man in these photos, stopped me and asked for an autograph on the newspaper review of the concert. He asked me to sign it, 'the Red Rocker'. That was the beginning of being the Red Rocker. (continue)
