Megadeth cofounder David Ellefson took to social media to pay tribute to former Judas Priest drummer Les Binks (born James Leslie Binks), who died on Tuesday (March 15th) at the age of 73.

Binks was part of Judas Priest from 1977 through 1979 and appeared on their "Stained Class" and "Hell Bent For Leather" albums. The band shared, "We are deeply saddened about the passing of Les and send our love to his family, friends and fans. The acclaimed drumming he provided was first class - demonstrating his unique techniques, flair, style and precision. Thank you Les - your acclaim will live on..." (continue)

After a triumphant West Coast screening in California last week, BayView Entertainment in association with Screaming Butterfly Entertainment and Ellefson Films is thrilled to announce the second showing in its bi-coastal theatrical premiere of This Was My Life: Nick Menza's Metal Memories with Megadeth and Beyond.

The much-anticipated Nick Menza documentary film is set to thrill music fans in Hawthorne, NJ this Thursday, April 17th at 7PM. In attendance will be Megadeth co-founder and former member, David Ellefson; and the film's director, Holly Grayson. The audience will be treated to an introduction and a Q&A session after the screening. Participants are tentatively scheduled to appear and subject to change pending any unforeseen circumstances. As Anberlin continues their twenty year celebration of Never Take Friendship Personal, the alternative outfit has announced the second leg of their nearly sold-out tour, with support from The Almost and Watashi Wa, kicking in Jacksonville, FL on July 31, hitting fifteen cities before wrapping things up mid-August in Indianapolis.

In 2021, Michael Schenker invited Sherinian to guest on his album "Immortal" album on the opening song "Drilled To Kill". Schenker said of Sherinian, "Derek and myself trading solos, it sounds unexpected and beyond my expectation." "Absolutely fantastic!" (hennemusic) Pink Floyd is streaming video of "One Of These Days" as featured in the restored 1972 "Live At Pompeii" concert film ahead of its theatrical release this spring.

The footage captures the group in action as they perform the track just days before it was issued as part of its 1971 album, "Meddle." Directed by Adrian Maben, "Pink Floyd at Pompeii - MCMLXXII" is the very first live concert to take place at Pompeii; the project also includes rare behind-the-scenes footage of the band beginning work on "The Dark Side Of The Moon" at Abbey Road Studios in London, UK. Sweet And Slow came about honestly quite randomly. We thought of the chorus sometime in 2022 but didn't really know what to do with it. We didn't do anything with it for a while, but in early 2023 we went to America for the first time to play at SXSW festival. (continue)
