Alice Cooper is giving fans the first taste of the new album from the original Alice Cooper Band with the release of the new single and video called "Black Mamba", which features a guest appearance The Doors legend Robby Krieger.
The new album, entitled "The Revenge Of Alice Cooper", will be the first new album to feature the original ACB lineup of Cooper (lead vocals), Michael Bruce (guitar), Dennis Dunaway (bass) and Neal Smith, as well as drum tracks recorded by the late Glen Buxton, in over 50 years and is set to be released on July 25th. Bad Company's Simon Kirke says in a new interview that an insider has told him that the band will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
"I've been told by an insider that we are getting in," Kirke revealed in a new interview with the VRP Rocks podcast and he also shared the song that they intend to play at the ceremony. (continue)

Riot Fest is turning the big 2-0, and to celebrate it's throwing the biggest party yet, headlined by Green Day, Blink-182, Weezer, Jack White, and a total of over 90 bands performing throughout the festival weekend. "I just wanted to put a show together with all of my favorite bands", festival founder Michael Petryshyn reminisced before the inaugural Riot Fest back in 2005.
Throughout the next 20 years, the festival has grown to become one of the biggest independent festivals in the country, known for eclectic lineups, high-profile band reunions, full album plays, and even a butter sculpture tribute to John Stamos. Along with headliners Green Day, Blink-182, Weezer, and Jack White, the festival will also include performances by the Sex Pistols (Frank Carter and Steve Jones, Paul Cook, Glen Matlock), Idles, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Alkaline Trio, All Time Low, Knocked Loose, Rilo Kiley, The Beach Boys, Jawbreaker, Dropkick Murphys, Bad Religion, The Pogues, The Hold Steady, The Academy Is..., Cobra Starship, Gym Class Heroes, Texas is the Reason, Dance Hall Crashers, The Front Bottoms, Knuckle Puck, The Wonder Years, James, and many many more. Late Iron Maiden frontman Paul Di'Anno's "Soldier Of Fortune" is released as a single and lyric video. The song is part of the new compilation In Memory Of, which will be released on May 16th via Metalville Records.
With his cover version of the Deep Purple classic, Paul Di'Anno delivered one of the strongest vocal performances of his long and varied career. The song originally comes from the 2015 studio album The League Of Shadows, which Paul recorded with his former band Architects Of Chaoz and which earned praise from fans and critics worldwide. Nick Hexum, the enigmatic frontman of alternative rock legends 311, has shared Full Memories, the second EP to be released from Hexum this year. The 40-date arena run kicks off in Canada on 11 September with shows in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle and more before wrapping on 26 November in Minneapolis, MN. Special guests Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will open for Adams on all U.S. dates and The Sheepdogs will provide direct support in Canada (excluding Calgary and Kelowna).
