They will be kicking off the special series of shows next week (April 30th), at Dolby Live at Park MGM and are previewing the run with the new video. (continue)

Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson says that they band's new drummer, Simon Dawson, reminds him of the group's late drummer Clive Burr, who played on the group's first three albums including their blockbuster "The Number of The Beast".

The band recruited Dawson to replace longtime drummer Nicko McBrain, who announced his retirement from touring at the conclusion of their last world tour for health reasons. (continue)

The Speaker Wars, led by ex-Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers drummer Stan Lynch and guitarist/vocalist Jon Christopher Davis, premiere the third video from their debut self titled album scheduled for release May 30th.

As with the previous videos for the songs "You Make Every Lie Come True" and "It Ain't Easy", the video was directed by Brad Osborne and filmed in Denton, TX. Stan Lynch comments: "This one had legs from the start -- it's written from the heart. It's a roadmap to healing. It's the truth." (continue)

Iconic punk-ska-funk pioneers Fishbone are set to release their latest single and music video, "Last Call in America," which was co-written by original members Christopher Dowd and Walter "Dirty Walt" Kibby and features the godfather of funk, George Clinton, out on April 25.

The track serves as the second single from their forthcoming album Stockholm Syndrome, due out on June 27. Slaughter To Prevail has announced their highly anticipated new album GRIZZLY, set to be released on July 18 via Sumerian Records. Along with the news comes the band's blistering new single "Russian Grizzly In America". The song is accompanied by a music video featuring a towering animatronic bear and UFC heavyweight fighter Alexander Volkov.

On the new album front man Alex Terrible shares: "I think this is the best album we have ever written. We put so much effort into it. We spent a lot of time on every detail and really poured our souls into the songs. In the past, we were always rushing to finish albums and just releasing whatever we had. This time, we took our time, worked carefully on each track, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Hopefully it was all worth it." (continue)

Indie artist Sasha Dawe recently released his new EP "Here I Am", which embrace his African heritage, and to celebrate we asked him to tell us about the track "Because We Forgot". Here is the story:

The song started off with a voice memo recording of me playing around on the guitar in my kitchen in Namibia. It sounded mostly like gibberish but I knew there was something special in the vocal melodies. This was few weeks before the recording was scheduled to start. I was back home for the first time in a while, so when I sat down to work on the lyrics, a lot of that feeling seemed to have come across in the message. As the project's theme was about home, we also wanted the recordings to retain a real sense of authenticity - so we decide to build a studio right in the middle our home lounge facing the large family wall to bake in the personal feeling of being home.
