After canceling the firing longtime drummer Zak Starkey last month, The Who have just announced that they are following through with the parting of ways with the song of the Beatles legend Ringo Starr.

The news comes as the band gear up for their The Song Is Over North American Farewell Tour. Starkey will be replaced on the trek by Scott Devours, who plays drums in Roger Daltrey's solo band. (continue)

Metallica have launched a special auction for 2001 McFarlane "Metallica Series 1" Harvester of Sorrow action figures as part of their Month Of Giving 2025 campaign that is raising funds for the Metallica Scholars Initiative Special Projects Fund.

Dave Navarro says that there is no chance of Jane's Addiction every playing together again after their reunion tour ended pre-maturely following frontman Perry Farrell attacking Navarro on stage during a concert in Bost in September of last year.
