UK pop-punk legends Neck Deep make a triumphant return with a brand new single "You Should See Me Now" via Hopeless Records. Fueled by resilience and rebellion, the track captures everything fans love about Neck Deep - raw honesty, unrelenting drive, and the defiant spirit that has continued to fuel the band from day one.
Speaking on the new single, frontman Ben Barlow says, "'You Should See Me Now' is a song about hard work, self-belief, the struggle through adversity and proving people wrong. As a band we've always been pretty humble and shied away from too much self-aggrandisement, but this felt like a good way of showing a little pride, and hopefully people can relate to that too. It was a song we've had in the bank for a long time and really should've been on the album in the first place, so it's nice to have such a strong bonus track to be featured on something cool to be announced soon." This Memorial Day Weekend, celebrate the 25th anniversary of a historic live collaboration and the release of the special anniversary edition of "Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes: Live at the Greek" with their exclusive all-new conversation debuting on SiriusXM's Classic Rewind.
Jimmy Page: "Ten Years Gone" was a song that I wrote for Led Zeppelin and it's on the "Physical Graffiti" album. And it was something I'd worked on at home. It had all this sort of guitar orchestration on it, but I'd never heard it like that apart from on record, because in the days of Zeppelin, I'd try and do as much as I could just with the one guitar. We Are Scientists - comprising founding members Keith Murray and Chris Cain - unveil "I Could Do Much Worse," the second single from their forthcoming album Qualifying Miles. A melancholic power ballad, the track begins with shimmering, propulsive guitar work that crescendos into an anthemic chorus and soaring solo. The release marks a rare moment where the band leans fully into a minor-key ballad. Lyrically it explores the lingering weight of life's missteps and the power of emotional reckoning.
Speaking on the track, Keith offers: "Remember when rock bands made all their money and bought all of their houses and helicopters and ski-doos off the back of their smash-hit power ballads? Our public-facing band persona is so founded in high-energy party vibes that we're never really given the stylistic leeway to publicly lean into our own power ballads. We've always been writing them - I'd argue there's at least one PB on every last We Are Scientists record, and we in the band always vote that they ought to be singles. It's nice to finally be giving one of their ilk a little time in the spotlight to tan its wan little face. (continue)

Over recent weeks, fans of Mark Pritchard, Thom Yorke and visual collaborator Jonathan Zawada discovered an Instagram profile for a mysterious metalsmith going by the name of Marien Marcel. The account showed development sketches for the visual world of "Tall Tales" - the new album from Pritchard and Yorke, released on Friday, 9th May - leading to speculation that this account was run by someone inside the project. The account also seemed to show the process of the melting down of fake works of art, purchased on eBay, and the subsequent forging of coins from the molten bronze. Fans have now started to discover these coins appearing in the real world.
Today, Mark Pritchard, Thom Yorke and Jonathan Zawada unveil "Tall Tales: The Coins (Forge, Reforge, Forgery)", a short film documenting the crafting of these coins. It forms part of the third element to the "Tall Tales" project, following the album released last week, and the film premiered in cinemas on Thursday, 8th May. (continue)
Extreme metal supergroup Sinsaenum have announced their long-awaited return with the release of their crushing new single, "In Devastation," the title track of their forthcoming third studio album, due out later this year via earMUSIC.

L.A. rockers Good Terms released their brand new single "Progress" today, and to celebrate we asked vocalist/guitarist Brian McShea to tell us about the track, which arrives just ahead of their big Walk-A-Thon event. Here is the story:
"Progress" is a big song, not just because we're making a big swing with the release, but because it's soaked up so much meaning for us as we've made it. What started as a stream-of-conscious rambling into my notes app a few years ago has tumbled into this massive snowball of perseverance and determination as it's rolled up the mundane failings of my 20s, the insane journey Good Terms has endured, and now the fallout of losing my Altadena house in the Eaton Fire. It's like the little song that could, chugging thru all these ups and downs, carrying more and more meaning as it's gone on. (continue)
