Metallica surprised fans in Oakland last night when they performed a short concert from the back of a flatbed truck in a parking lot outside the Network Coliseum where the hometown Raiders was battling the Tennessee Titans for the AFC championship. Not only did the fans get a hometown victory when the Raiders emerged victorious but a few hundred fans were able to rock out to a six-song set by Metallica who were joined by producer Bob Rock on bass.

The band treated the crowd to performances of 'Fuel', 'Master Of Puppets', 'Sad But True', 'For Whom The Bell Tolls',  'Seek & Destroy' and 'Battery'.
