As you can tell, KISS has not gone into retirement following their 2000-01 Farewell Tour. It looks like the grease painted rockers will join Aerosmith for a tour of arenas in August. Billboard reports that the tour will run through October with approximately 40 dates.
Who will headline? There is some confusion on that matter. MTV reports that it is still undecided whether this tour will be a co-headlining trek with the bands swapping the headlining slot from night to night or whether KISS will headline the entire tour. Billboard on the other hand reports that this tour will in fact be a co-headlining venture.
Dates are unknown at this point but we
can expect details to start trickling out from the KISS and Aerosmith camps
later this year once the tour is officially announced.
