The focus of the disc for Grohl was to capture an 80’s metal vibe. To accomplish this he asked for a little help from his friends; most notably--Slayer’s Tom Araya, Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister, Zwan’s Matt Sweeny and falsetto metal vocalist--King Diamond.
Apparently, Grohl is hoping to release the album this Fall through Southern Lord Recordings. We’ll keep you Posted on developments.
