Weiland was pulled over by Burbank police shortly before midnight on Saturday for reportedly driving without his headlights on. Police say they spotted a syringe in the car and upon a further search discovered cocaine and heroin.
Weiland and his passenger, Jennifer Lynn Sires were both arrested. Weiland was released from jail on Sunday after posting $25,000 bail.
There is no indication how this arrest will effect Weilands new gig as the frontman of the band featuring former Guns N Rosers Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum.
