According to Soundscan, Staind moved 221,000 copies of their new CD last week (A big drop from the first week sales of their last album, �Break the Cycle � which sold 716,000). The Deftones came in second with sales of 167,000 for their new self-titled album.
Evanescence is still going strong landing at number 4, right behind American Idol�s Kelly Clarkson.
Last week�s No. 1, Marilyn Manson took a nosedive twenty spots to No. 21 and Cold went from No. 3 to No. 29 their second week with �Year Of the Spider�.
Finally Powerman 5000 and Live had good
first weeks with their new releases landing at 27 and 28.
