Dallas authorities issued an arrest warrant for Neil on Wednesday on a charge of misdemeanor assault.
The altercation began when Neil was reportedly unhappy with the sound levels during his October 30th concert at Gilly's Dallas. The police report states that Neil motioned to soundman Michael Talbert to increase guitar levels and as Talbert was doing so, Neil bolted across the stage, jumped on the soundboard and began kicking at the soundman. He then allegedly struck Talbert in the face. The soundman was knocked unconscious by the blow, but came to after approximately 45 seconds. A CAT scan was performed and discovered a mild concussion.
