Fans will also hear new music from the reunited Van Halen, when the second installment of their greatest hits albums hits stores in June featuring a new single called Its About Time.
Hager was with the group for 11 years after
he replaced original frontman, David Lee Roth, in 1985. The lineup had
tremendous success over the next decade, churning out hit albums and filling
stadiums. But that all came to an end in 1996 when, depending on who you
ask, Hagar either quit the group or was fired.
But that is all water under the bridge
right now as the band are poised to reclaim their former glory this summer
with a stadium and arena tour. It appears at press time that the
tour will kick off on June 6th in Greensboro, North Carolina and concluded
in Los Angeles on August 19th.
