 "The Grudge" Tops Box Office Again, Ray Opens Big

(antiTainment) The Halloween box office battle was won by the Sarah Michelle Gellar horror movie "The Grudge", landing the film at the top for the second week in a row, after the film brought in an additional $22.4 million this past weekend. The critically acclaimed biography of Ray Charles, "Ray," staring Jamie Fox came in right behind after pulling down $20.1 million for its opening weekend. 

Moviegoers appeared to want some horror this Halloween weekend as the No. 3 spot went to "Saw," a gory tale of a serial killer that debuted with a $17.4 million gross. 

Families didn't stay away from the theatres for Halloween as "The Shark Tale" brought in another $8 million. The top five for the weekend was rounded out by "Shall We Dance," which managed a $6.3 gross for the weekend.
