Moviegoers appeared to want some horror this Halloween weekend as the No. 3 spot went to "Saw," a gory tale of a serial killer that debuted with a $17.4 million gross.
Families didn't stay away from the theatres for Halloween as "The Shark Tale" brought in another $8 million. The top five for the weekend was rounded out by "Shall We Dance," which managed a $6.3 gross for the weekend.
