ROCK STAR: A NIGHT AT THE MAYAN THEATRE is the first release from a partnership between Epic Records and the newly formed Burnett Records. The deal includes a "first look" agreement giving Epic the option to jointly release future albums.
ROCK STAR: A NIGHT AT THE MAYAN THEATRE features the full lineup of show favorites covering some of the greatest rock songs of all time. Among the many highlights is Minneapolis native Jordis Unga delivering an electrifying cover of The Who's "Baba O'Riley," Ty Taylor tearing through Living Colour's "Cult of Personality," Aussie rocker Mig Ayesa's searing rendition of Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," Marty Casey's super-charged performance of the Kinks' "You Really Got Me" and the always-controversial J.D. Fortune's take on The Guess Who's "American Woman." The album includes two bonus tracks: David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold The World," as performed by Unga, and Peter Frampton's "Baby I Love Your Way," covered by Ayesa.
