"We are celebrating our 150th Anniversary with the people that have been most instrumental in our success: our employees, our business partners and our hometown community, Milwaukee," said Miller Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Mike Jones.
The Big Brew-Ha will begin with a tailgate party surrounding Miller Park and will continue inside the stadium with great food, great Miller beer and great music from Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide throughout their musical career. More than 30,000 expected attendees will celebrate together to honor Miller's past 150 years and toast its future. The event will be free to all attendees. Additional event details, including additional entertainment, ticket distribution and event timing will be released at a later date.
"Like Miller, Bon Jovi has stood the test of time and we are thrilled that they will be celebrating this milestone with us," said Jones.
In addition to The Big Brew-Ha, Miller has several additional events and special programs in the works to celebrate its anniversary. As a special extension of its Employee Fund, Miller is creating the "150 Ways We Care" program, to award $150 to the charity of choice of its employees. A new employee-designated charity will be selected daily during the 150 days between March 24 and August 20.
Additionally, Millers 150th anniversary celebration includes a $2.5 million gift for a major renovation of the Summerfest Miller Lite Oasis. Other anniversary elements will be announced over the course of the year.
