Minogue was admitted to Cabrini Hospital in Malvern on Friday. She went under the knife at 5 PM for what the doctor described as surgery for early breast cancer. "The operation is considered the best practice around the world for a girl with an early breast cancer," Dr Senior said. "I am very pleased to be able to confirm the operation was successful."
The doctor says that Minogue is "feeling fine" and that "she has her family and friends around her."
The pop singer reportedly also underwent her first radiation treatment on Friday.
