Knife US Live Debut

(PR) Following the release of their critically acclaimed album, Silent Shout, Sweden's The Knife announce plans for its first-ever US tour. This limited number of concert dates begins November 1st - the day after Halloween - with a debut performance at New York City's Webster Hall during the CMJ Music Marathon. Performances at Mezzanine in San Francisco (November 3rd) and the El Ray Theater in Los Angeles (November 4th) follow directly after.

Live, The Knife is more theater than concert. With audiovisuals and set design by acclaimed artist and director Andreas Nilsson, who also shot The Knife's award winning 'Silent Shout' and 'Heartbeats' videos, The Knife "create performance art which [does] a brilliant job of complementing a wonderfully eclectic and richly textured sound" (Evening Standard, UK). When the Knife debuted their collaborative performance with Nilsson in support of Silent Shout at London's Scala Theatre in April 2006, the show sold out within just two days - as did subsequent performances throughout Europe.
