Kweller Hymns

(PR) Rock Ridge Music/Blackland Records band Hymns is set to tour with Ben Kweller in October. So far, twelve dates are confirmed in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast. Hymns will also be on the road themselves beginning later this week, playing a series of shows in their home state of North Caroline and a show in Virginia. Hymns' debut album, "Brother/Sister," hits stores on October 10, 2006. Entitled "Brother/Sister," the album was recorded during the summer of 2005 at Blackland Records' in-house studio in Celeste, Texas, with John Kent in the production seat. The foursome, who now call New York City home, reference and recall early Stones, Neil Young, and Gram Parsons, mashed together with Pavement, Spoon, Wilco, and The Kings of Leon.
